Yea, do they give Porzingis the designated players contract or save it for Doncic?

What is Dallas salary cap situation look like next year between Porzingis extension, Hardaway Jr, Barnes and Lee and no draft picks to add "cheap" talent.

Hardaway, Porzingis, Doncic gets Dallas to 5-8 seed in the playoffs with little flexibility to add more talent.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about cap space with this current group. I’ll ride it until players’ contracts expire.

This group is solid. But I see more deals by the Mavs. Maybe flip Barnes for Drummond and slip KP to the 4. It’s actually a lot the Mavs can do. I like it so far.
