The Heat did it and won two championships and went to four straight finals. All they have to do is find useful veterans that are ring chasing on minimum deals to fill out the bench. Jamal Crawford, Melo, Zach Randolph, Tyson Chandler, Al Jefferson, David West, Vince Carter types of players. Veterans who don’t expect a lot of money or a big role but know how to win and are experienced in big games.

1st. To trade Dennis Smith Jr. all they have to do is make it part of a second trade to the Pelicans for say a fake 2nd round pick.

2nd. When u get a big 3 like that other players take less to play with them so they could fill out the rest of the roster with minimum contracts and exceptions.
