@Shiller41 I don't think Rondo gets more than 5m at this stage in his career from a contender. KCP would be doing Clutch a solid and after the year the Lakers would have his full bird rights and could offer him a bloated salary (20m).

I think Ariza could take a discount for a starting role on a contender, he only has a few years left and could only get 5m from other contenders.
As far as AD trades go - I think the Pels won't get better offers than the Lakers gave if AD is 'injured' and says he won't resign with anyone but LAL.

Why is Phoenix trading for Ball when they can draft Ja Mont to play the point?

Seems like a waste of sending Milwaukee's 1st to the Lakers. Plus, Jackson is showing improvement while Ball still can't make FTs.
