Davis won't stick w/ Blazers.

Good return for expiring unhappy Davis.

2 years of McCollum at $27 mil per or 3 years of Tatum at $10 mil per?

If Boston offers Tatum for Davis, it is a wrap. Game over. That is the only real question about trading AD.

Fredman why did you assume this trade was for next season?

Jorga, because the NBA is past the trade deadline for this season. So it likely has to be for next season.

Also, Harkless doesn't become an expiring contract until next season as well.

Seemed kind of elementary that this trade would be after the end of this season which means that NO is only getting 2 years of McCollum.

Children will play games.

I think Irving walks so Boston don't trade tatum. The point is it's still a good trade but the Boston better.

It depends on what else Boston offers NO. If it's Tatum, Hayward, and a first vs that Portland package? I might take Portland's deal. If Boston offers Tatum, Horford (expiring) and 3-4 firsts? Yeah, Boston wins.

Tatum, Smart, Baynes, Kings 1st, Memphis 1st, Boston 1st for Davis

or

Tatum, Horford (opt in), Ojeleye, Williams, Kings 1st, Memphis 1st for Davis and Hill.

Look at blazers line up. No shooting. Not a good trade.

Rental.

Moore is an elite three point shooter. Lillard is too. Aminu is league average. Layman has been great lately with extended run, and just seems like a good shooter. Curry's 40%+. And Davis stretches the floor, even if it's not as far as the arc.

That's 6 solid shooters in that rotation.

That said, I'd start Layman and bring Aminu off the bench with that roster.

Bmill I agree. But Ingram kuz ball and 4 first from the lakers would be better then tatum, horford and 4 first. and better then the blazer offer.

Depends on how NO evaluate Ingram, Kuzma and Tatum. Most reports I have read day Tatum is the best young talent that NO can get back for Davis.
