The Cavs get Exum, Allen, and a top 20 protected 20 1st that converts to 2 2nds if it doesn't transfer.

The jazz get Jr Smith.

The Jazz get off Exum, who can't stay healthy and open up over a full max.

Does Exum have value at this point? He’s missed 200 games in the last 4 years, he currently has a major knee injury and he’s looked pretty lackluster when he has played. He seems like a contract that you’d want out of at this point.

If I had Smith, I would trade him straight across for Exum if I could. The Exum injury is unfortunate, but not uncommon or severe, especially for a pro basketball player. He has been prone, but he's 23, and his deal is not that bad. Utah isn't really a FA destination, but they are good, so put in a bind they could go this route. Good for whoever faciitates.
