Hawks get the chance of two top 5.

Pistons get a wing scorer and a Center that can shoot the 3 when Griffins dominate the paint.

Mavs get a younger Rim protector the may learn outside shooting but first of all play in the paint.

Mavs can sign a max and a 20m player by exeption in addition. E.G. Walker and Aminu or Rubio and Leonard. :)

nob, the deal is before the lottery, you sell possibilities on the market if it is a top pick Hawks would not ger it for Len anymore.

I don't like it for Mavs Drummond is not worth a possible top 5 pick to me. When you consider the talent of this years draft and Drummonds contract if i'm Mavs i hold on to that pick or if they do give it up it shouldn't be for Drummond.

Since all 3 teams are out of the playoffs and the players involved are not upcoming UFA/ RFAs, then this trade can happen before the draft.

However, trading lottery picks before the lottery is extremely stupid. Because if you trade away the pick that ends up being #1 for Len, you should be fired on the spot.
