Nobody will offer better than the Lakers for a player everyone knows wants to be a Laker with 1 year left on his deal. Who will have a better offer? The only other team in the hunt for Davis is Boston and they would have to give up Tatum and picks which they won't do.

The3eyedLaker: That's what people said about Paul George too. The Lakers aren't entitled to stars just because they're the Lakers.

Nothing about the last few years in the NBA makes me think that Davis to LA is even close to a done deal.

Ainge apparently thinks if he gets Davis, Irving will stay.

AD said he’d resign with the Knicks as well.

The Lakers will have to give up everything just to have a chance. The Knicks and Celtics have every reason to go all in if the Ainge stuff is true. They both have arguably better all in packages.

Not entitled to good players just know the city attracts big talent. Plus Paul George/ Kawhi could have been had if the Lakers made the best offer but they didnt. I don't think there is a team out there that can match the Lakers offer right now other than Boston.

The3eyedlaker get a clue no one besides lakers fans thing Ingram and ball have much value. Ingram has been in the league for 3 or 4 years and hasn't improved much at all. The fact that kuzma is the best asset should tell you all you need to know. Plus lakers ain't the only la team, in fact they're the after thought to the clippers nowadays.

Shillers offer is better for a rebuild team like New Orleans.

Plus, i have heard reports that a portion of the Lakers FO does not want to trade the young players. They think Lebron will be lucky to deliver a championship in the next couple of years. Therefore developing the youngsters is a better option to build a dynasty in LA.
