Great for the Spurs, Derozan is worth more like conley/ Wright or conley/ Brooks but the Portland deal is a good haul for s. a.

Derozan does not fit Memphis’ timeline. They are rebuilding and Derozan will be 30 when the season starts.

This is terrible for Portland. Like the AD trade, it makes no sense to trade McCollum for someone in the same range of quality as himself.

Add Aldridge to Lillard, McCollum, and Nurkic and they're a top tier team. Replace McCollum with Aldridge and they don't improve in the slightest. If anything, they're worse.

I also hate it for Memphis. If they're trading Conley, they go young and get assets for a rebuild.

I don’t hate it for anyone really.

Even rebuilding teams need vets, and at 30, Derozan still has enough quality years left in him that he should be a contributor when the Grizz turn it around.

I don't understand why you would want a 33 year old power forward. And you give up McCollum for that. No way.
