- Mavs add 3&d PG who can play w Doncic and adds a first this year. Saves almost 8mil after 19-20 season
- Spurs add perimeter scoring and get rid of PG logjam

Just like when Hardaway and his contract was in New York, he is not going to get you a 1st round draft pick in return.

Especially for a couple of expiring contracts so the Spurs are stuck with Hardaway's PTO.

Although I do agree that Mills is the type of "dont need the ball" PG that would be a good pairing with doncic.

This is not a good deal for the Spurs.
1} Hardaway is not worth his contract so it makes this a non-starter.
2) Hardaway plays SG. Spurs badly need a SF defender. He does not fit the Spurs needs.
3) Way too much to give up for Hardaway.
