I like this for CP3.

I was there until you said 2022 protected first from Sac.

Considering Houston doesn't own a second rounder until 2021, why don't they keep that, Kings keep their first, and Sac tosses in a couple of 2nd rounders to Houston.

Kings aren’t giving up their only useable wing for Capela, and certainly not giving up a 1st rounder. If they want a marginal center they can just match whatever marginal offer WCS gets.

I would much rather have Capella than WCS for starters.

The trade also creates and additional $17 mil in cap space for the Kings which brings their total up to $52 mil. Pretty sure the Kings can sign a wing since that is a full max + a rookie max offer. Durant + Porzingis if my dreams came true.

I’m not a fan of it for Utah. Unless they can get Paul for basically expiring money, it just isn’t worth taking on that contract and giving assets up.

@rkenne, I thinks its just Utah consolidating its trash and recycling it into something that might help them get pass the first round of the platoffs.
