Since Irving will leave Boston, they will also not land AD. So maybe AD and Irving will end up in LA?

Anyway, Horford will be available if Bostons goes with the young core and Houston will try to go for him. They offered already Capela and Gordon to Dallas.

So Mavs can make 2 smart moves by supporting other teams interests and get what they need as well!

1. Trade (Dallas signs per CAP)
Houston: Horford (30m), Jackson (3m)
Dallas: Capela (15m), Gordon (14)
Boston: 30 mio trade exception, 2nd pick from Mavs

2. Trade (using trade exception)
Miami: Gordon (14m 1y) as a 3&D player, Lee (13m 1y), and 20m CAP
Charlotte: Dragic (20m), 2nd from Mavs
Dallas: S&T Walker 5y190m, Richardson (10m), Waiters (11m)

Miami can use the CAP and expiring Lee and a first to go for Conley or Russell and have a good 3 point shooter (3 per game!) in Gordon.

Charlotte has a complemet PG for one year and go young 2020.

Houston get a great two way player at Center for the next 3y when they will try to compete.

Mavs get a great scorer the next 5y and young 3&D player and defending Center. But they will be stuck the next 4 years since Walker, Doncic, Richardson, Zinger, Capela and Hardaway will eat the CAP and push them to luxery. But that could be a great young team, with some Risk not be able to go for championship. But they could try trades in this case.

I would advise it!

Voila.

You have to be the dumbest person on the site. Every trade you propose is completely awful. For 1 no big free agent ever signs with dallas, and 2 they sure as hell won't sign with them just to be traded somewhere else.

OK, so many things wrong with this one. Boston is not just going to send Al away for a 2nd round pick. Not happening. Not to mention, why would they want to? Just because Kyrie is probably gone does not make them a "rebuilding" team. They did, in fact, go to the conference finals without him. I think one of the things Stevens has shown is his ability to really amplify the skills of a lead guard who buys in. Kyrie so far is really the only one not to. Some of the guys who have really played well under Stevens are Rozier, Larkin, IT, Evan Turner (he's a SF, but was a primary ballhandler), an aged Jameer Nelson, Marcus Thornton, Jordan Crawford. that's not really a who's who of top talent, but they all played really well under Stevens.
