Looks like Knicks are stuck with those guys. They hold little trade value.

That's too much money for Lopez.

$25M a year for Lopez is ridiculous, especially over four years. $25M total over 2 years ($12.5M per) is much more likely.

You just love trading players for picks shizzee. Knicks are not giving up DSJ, Knox and Trier for one non-lottery first and a few seconds. Frank for a second maybe, but let’s get real with the rest. I am not saying those three are blue chip prospects, but if all you can get for them is. seconds, hold on to them, they have more value than that.

Soooo, what I hear Triangle says is invest in actually developing your young talent so that when you trade them you can get a good trade package.

I can’t see the Griz trading out of the 2nd pick and I don’t see the point of trading all of the young players the Knicks have at bargain prices.

The money on those deals doesn’t add up and you can’t supermax a player without bird rights

The Knicks likely go after Durant, punt the rest of their space and maybe make it available for teams trying to dump 1 year contracts. Then they tank and come back next offseason trying to compete if they get Durant.
