Paul for Dragic, Winslow, Herro, and Bam.
What picks do you think would need to be included to make this happen?
I'm guessing both of the Miami picks but would that be enough?

Reports say that Miami wants both of their draft picks back AND will not include Adebayo or Herro in the deal.

So the question becomes are those 2 picks worth keeping Paul (and his contract) around while OKC goes through a rebuild.

Will see after teams pass the Dec 15th FA signing trade restriction passes.

Paul is stuck in OKC

The Westbrook trade was only good for OKC, if they can keep all their picks.

OKC isn't going to hit the free agent market the next three years, so why clear cap losing draft picks and there are cheaper ways to get under the cap. Gallinari, Robertson and Patterson all have expiring contracs they can dump.

CP3 has to choose between a big contract in OKC or a buyout that hurts his bank account.

CP3 can accept a 25M buyout, he can resign for a vet min to a contender and hit the free agent market next year, when their are no big free agents available (considering Lowry and A Davis are going to resign)

Just send Miami's shorter bad contracts for Paul. OKC keeps the picks, Miami keeps their young players.

Reports say Miami is not willing to do that, xxx.

The sticking point is Miami won’t include Herro in any deals.

That is what Okc is looking for, they would take Adebayo, but he isn’t their 1st choice.
Okc would be willing to send back both draft picks, but Miami doesn’t feel they need to budge right now on the rookies.

The other sticking point is Okc will not take on salary. Miami keeps trying to unload some salary on Okc even after getting back those draft picks.

These are the reasons why they’re in a stalemate. Neither team needs to be in a hurry right now.
Now maybe if a 3rd team gets involved, things will work out a little better for all sides.
