NYK- Eric Bledsoe, Trevor Ariza

Why in the world would suns do this? Suns are a young team that should be building for the future. They have no need for Wade especially at this price. A 2022 first is way too far in the future to have much value and since Rockets have Harden locked up until then they probably won't be awful. That would be a bad return on Bledsoe but giving up Bender too who they used a #4 pick for a year ago is beyond reason.

Even tho Bulls are getting a complete steal despite only giving up Wade (who probably has little value other than as an expiring contract) trade doesn't make sense for them. Even if they don't bring back Mirotic they still have Portis and Markkanen as pf and don't need to add two more.

Needed a laugh early in the morning today. this Wade to PHX thing surely provided one. Not a chance in the netherworld this could happen.

I think Bender should go to Washington instead of Utah but even then not sure it makes sense for / is enough value for Washington to part with Wall.

Favors as an expiring contract and someone who has been riddled by injuries lately I don't think is worth all that and probably not much more than Phoenix pick.

Complete steal for Phoenix to get Wall for so little.

Only Phoenix would like this trade.

NYK- Jeremy Lin, Trevor Ariza (exp), Trevor Booker (exp)
HOU- Carmelo Anthony
BRK- Ryan Anderson, Courtney Lee

1.) 11 Jul 2017 00:26:09
Why does Brooklyn take on that kind of salary without picks involved?

2.) 11 Jul 2017 08:16:22
Ya Nets would be better off just keeping their cap flexibility since neither Anderson or Lee will make a big difference and wouldn't be in their long term plans. At least if Nets signed KCP he is young at 24 and could grow with the team.

Making sensible knick fans look bad. Just stop. Please.

3.) 10 Jul 2017 17:24:00
God no. We won't have no center. Noah is definitely not a option to start.

Don't hate it for any of the teams. Knicks get a solid return consisting of Knight who is still relatively young and showed promise earlier in his career, Ariza is a solid role player and Leuer isn't that great but as a backup isn't terrible.

Houston gets their guy in Melo. I think its unwise to give up an unprotected 1st (they should do top 5 at least) since although they have Harden locked up long term, Melo and CP3 won't be the same players in 3 years and Rockets could be mediocre and contemplate trading Harden to spark a rebuild.

Probably a little on the high end price for Drummond especially with 2018 draft featuring a lot of promising big man prospects but he'd allow them a faster timeline while still young enough to grow with the rest of their core.

Drummond was once considered among the top echelon of young centers in the league due to his athleticism and avg over 13 pts and rebounds per game at the age of 19. He has remained healthy and is still an elite rebounder but hasn't really improved his game the 3 seasons since especially on the defensive end where he appears to have the physical tools to be elite. He doesn't appear to be the franchise center anymore and in a league going away from traditional centers Pistons would be wise to shop him to try and add more talent. Bender and Phx's pick offer significant upside and Anderson would be an upgrade over Leuer while Chandler could fill up the minutes at center.

This is awful for SAC…They give up the 10th pick, and take on the NBA’s worst contract in Mosgov? This would get everyone fired.
