Knicks Offseason

NYK- Anthony Davis
NOP- Kevin Knox, Courtney Lee (exp), Frank Ntilikina, Lance Thomas (Exp), 2019 1st (most likely top 5 pick)

Sign Kevin Durant to MAX
Sign Rajon Rondo to 1 year $10 million

C- Anthony Davis
PF- Kristaps Porzingis
SF- Kevin Durant
SG- Tim Hardaway
PG- Rajon Rondo

Durant has expressed his desire to play in NY and I think Knox, Ntilikina and a top 5 pick, the Pelicans will be hard to find a better offer. These move put the Knicks as the team to beat in the East as long as Porzingis stays healthy.

1.) 12 Oct 2018 20:57:11
Unless Knox looks like a surefire future allstar that package isn’t going to do it for Davis. The Celtics, 76ers, Lakers and almost every other young team in the league will probably be going all in on him.

2.) 12 Oct 2018 21:41:48
The pelicans will absolutely hands down get significantly better offers. And that’s coming from a Knicks fan.

Just stop.

3.) 12 Oct 2018 23:46:35
I wish the knicks the best, they have had it rough for a while but why is Davis going there to get a championship? That's why he would leave the pelicans right?

4.) 13 Oct 2018 01:42:55
Notdrainer spreading that Christmas spirit again! I feel like I need a rolled up newspaper or something.

5.) 13 Oct 2018 02:35:52
Im sorry gentlemen i'm embarrassed as a Knicks fan of that offer.

Knox Noah 2020 1st for Butler
Hardaway for Shumpert koufos

Next yr maxed butler leonard and harris for 20 beverly mle than resign Porzingis

Ntilikina/ Beverly/ Baker
Butler/ Lee/ Trier
Leonard/ Little-1st/ Dotson
Harris/ Beasley/ Paschall-2nd
Porzingis/ Robinson/ Bitadze-2nd.

6.) 13 Oct 2018 16:39:19
I normally respond to AD trade rumors that AD is untouchable. But this offer is so lame i will just remember that some don't follow the "don't drink and create rumors" rule

I mean when fellow Knicks fans tell you that your proposal is lopsided and purely Homer, then what more can i say?

11 Oct 2018 15:35:27

PHI- Jimmy Butler
MIN- Robert Covington, Jarred Bayless, Frank Korkmaz, 2019 1st unprotected

C- Joel Embiid
PF- Dario Saric
SF- Jimmy Butler
SG- JJ Reddick
PG- Ben Simmons

C- Amir Johnson
PF- Mike Muscala
SF- Wilson Chandler
SG- Zhaire Smith
PG- Markelle Fultz

1.) 11 Oct 2018 16:05:36
76ers can't trade their own 2019 first-rounder because it might convey to Boston.

2.) 11 Oct 2018 16:56:34
Phili can trade their 2019 pick. They get the less favorable of their's or Sacramento's (and Boston gets the better of the two) . Phili could trade whatever they get in a trade now.

That said, I'm not sure Minny is getting a first with that package at this point.

Lakers 2019

Since this year is over bc of Cousins in GS (was over even before he signed). Next year will be the year the Lakers go after the stars.

Sign Kawhi to MAX

LAL- Anthony Davis
NOP- Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma Luol Deng (exp), 2020 1st unprotected

C- Javale McGee
PF- Anthony Davis
SF- Kawhi Leonard
SG- Brandon Ingram
PG- Lebron James

With Cousins leaving GS next year this team could go head to head with GS for the championship

1.) 03 Jul 2018 15:11:22
the delusional laker fans are back. Could some real laker fans shut these guys out.

2.) 03 Jul 2018 15:34:54
First off, I'm a Knicks fan (hate admitting that), and second, what is so unrealistic about this? Is NO going to beat GS or LA with just Davis? Why not trade him for two young guys and try to rebuild for 2/ 3 years when these teams past their dominance? Any team not named PHI, BOS, HOU, LA should be focused on rebuilding and adding young talent. No one has a shot to beat GS with their current core.

3.) 03 Jul 2018 15:40:29
The leonard deal isn't quite over and done.

4.) 03 Jul 2018 16:34:26
Anthony Davis is worth more than that. The 2020 1st round pick wouldn't be a high pick. They would b taking a bad contract. For Lonzo who has a very inconsistent shot but if he fixes that he does have good potential to be an all star. And Kuzma who has good potental. In my opinion they would have to throw in at least hart and another first. If he only had one year left and wanted to b somewhere besides the lakers that might would work but he will still have 2 years left at that point.

5.) 03 Jul 2018 17:31:13
Even if the Pels decide to trade AD, that is clearly not enough. Plus, there's no way theY are trading him to the Lakers or anyone in the West. They will ship him somewhere in the East, where they will only have to face them twice a year.

6.) 03 Jul 2018 20:18:57
If lakers add lebron they get back davis.

02 Jul 2018 17:02:04

MIL- Hassan Whiteside
MIA- John Henson, Thon Maker, 2020 1st (protected)

Re-Sign/Match Jabari Parker

C- Hassan Whiteside
PF- Jabari Parker
SF- Giannis Antetokounmpo
SG- Kris Middleton
PG- Eric Bledsoe

C- Tyler Zeller
F- Ersan Ilyasova
F/G- Tony Snell
G- Malcolm Brogdan
G- Matthew Dellavedova
G- Donte DiVincenzo

1.) 02 Jul 2018 17:12:05
Whiteside is to much of a head case, For anyone other than Miami to sign him, On and off the court. He usually gets pulled in the 4th quarter? I believe the Bucks would pass.

2.) 02 Jul 2018 18:38:42
Maybe 2 garbage contacts like dellevadova Snell or Henson but no one is going to give anything of value for Whiteside the bucks shouldn't or wouldn't give up thon or a first let alone both.

3.) 02 Jul 2018 22:01:45
See Thon's fight? Bucks aren't trading the enforcer! Not to mention his playoffs against the celtics were phenomenal.

02 Jul 2018 16:48:40

DEN- Kawhi Leonard
SA- Gary Harris, Micheal Porter Jr. Wilson Chandler, 2020 and 2022 1st (unprotected)

C- Nikola Jokic
PF- Paul Milsap
SF- Kawhi Leonard
SG- Will Barton
PG- Jamal Murray

Denver has a very sneaky good roster. A player like Kawhi could put them in contention.

1.) 02 Jul 2018 17:14:13
Way too much to give up for a flight risk. Plus, on any team besides the Lakers Leonard will be playing all of 2018-19 to just not get hurt. That unsigned max deal with the Lakers will be weighing him down all season.

2.) 02 Jul 2018 17:33:35
Super- like PG?

3.) 02 Jul 2018 17:53:10
worth the risk, this team could give the west hell, championship isn't out of the question. but if he still leaves next summer, giving up on mpj would hurt, especially if he comes close to reaching his potential.
and i think spurs would want jamal murray too.

MIL- Paul George, Marc Gasol
MEM- Thon Maker, Mirza Teletovic, 2018 1st MIL
OKC- Kris Middleton, Jabari Parker

Memphis should look to unload Gasol now. Their window to win is gone and they should start to get younger. OKC tried their version of the Big 3, but it is not working out. George is destined to leave in the offseason. They should look to move him now and get something back rather then him leaving for free.

C- Marc Gasol
PF- Paul George
SF- Giannis Antetokounmpo
SG- Malcolm Brogdon
PG- Eric Bledsoe

1.) 21 Dec 2017 19:46:13
Not terrible. I think GA would be the pf in this lineup though.

26 Jul 2017 16:46:53

PHX- Lamarcus Aldridge
SAS- Dwayne Wade, TJ Warren
CHI- Tyson Chandler, Danny Green, 2020 PHX pick (top 10 protected)

PHX- Kyrie Irving
CLE- Eric Bledsoe, Dragon Bender, 2018 MIA pick, 2018 PHX pick (top 5 protected), 2021 MIA Pick

C- Allen Williams/Alex Len (re-sign)
PF- Lamarcus Aldridge/Marquese Chriss
SF- Josh Jackson/Jared Dudley
SG- Devin Booker/Elijah Milsap
PG- Kyrie Irving/Tyler Ulis

1.) 26 Jul 2017 18:08:49
If Suns got Kyrie I could see them bringing in Aldridge especially at this modest price. Issue is don't think Spurs would let him go that easily and don't get why they'd send Danny Green away (especially where he'll waste away on a bad team) .

I think that is a great return for Cavs (although they probably should move some of those picks. It would be even better for Cavs if they moved one of those picks to Bulls for Green (would make sense for both sides and Cavs can add Frye for salary) .

A core of Irving, Booker, Jackson and Chriss is solid even without the Aldridge trade and even if he opts out they have cap space to make a run at someone next year (do they have the max to offer Cousins since that would be a scary lineup) .

18 Jul 2017 18:45:21
NYK- Brandon Knight, Trevor Ariza, John Leuer
HOU- Carmelo Anthony
PHX- Andre Drummond, Kyle O'Quinn
DET- Ryan Anderson, Tyson Chandler, Dragon Bender, 2018 PHX 1st (top 5 protected), 2020 HOU 1st (unprotected)

C- Willy Hernangomez/Joakim Noah
PF- Kristaps Porzingis/John Leuer
SF- Trevor Ariza/Lance Thomas
SG- Tim Hardaway Jr/Courtney Lee
PG- Brandon Knight/Frank Ntilikina

C- Clint Capela/Tarik Black
PF- Carmelo Anthony/Luc Mbah A Moute
SF- PJ Tucker/Jarrod Uthoff
SG- James Harden/Eric Gordon
PG- Chris Paul/Isaiah Taylor

C- Andre Drummond/Allen Williams
PF- Marquese Chriss/Kyle O'Quinn
SF- TJ Warren/Jared Dudley
SG- Devin Booker/ Josh Jackson
PG- Eric Bledsoe/Tyler Ulis

C- Tyson Chandler/Boban Marjanovic
PF- Ryan Anderson/Dragon Bender
SF- Tobias Harris/Stanley Johnson
SG- Avery Bradley/Luke Kennard
PG- Reggie Jackson/Ish Smith

1.) 18 Jul 2017 23:47:25
Don't hate it for any of the teams. Knicks get a solid return consisting of Knight who is still relatively young and showed promise earlier in his career, Ariza is a solid role player and Leuer isn't that great but as a backup isn't terrible.

Houston gets their guy in Melo. I think its unwise to give up an unprotected 1st (they should do top 5 at least) since although they have Harden locked up long term, Melo and CP3 won't be the same players in 3 years and Rockets could be mediocre and contemplate trading Harden to spark a rebuild.

Probably a little on the high end price for Drummond especially with 2018 draft featuring a lot of promising big man prospects but he'd allow them a faster timeline while still young enough to grow with the rest of their core.

Drummond was once considered among the top echelon of young centers in the league due to his athleticism and avg over 13 pts and rebounds per game at the age of 19. He has remained healthy and is still an elite rebounder but hasn't really improved his game the 3 seasons since especially on the defensive end where he appears to have the physical tools to be elite. He doesn't appear to be the franchise center anymore and in a league going away from traditional centers Pistons would be wise to shop him to try and add more talent. Bender and Phx's pick offer significant upside and Anderson would be an upgrade over Leuer while Chandler could fill up the minutes at center.

What's weird is I was making (will post soon) this type of scenario for MIL. After I submitted I saw this. I love this idea for MIL. I think the East is up for grabs and they can easily take it with two moves.

HOU doenst have their pick in 2018. Plus SAS won't take on Anderson.

This is awful for SAC…They give up the 10th pick, and take on the NBA’s worst contract in Mosgov? This would get everyone fired.
