I think that by the end of next season Paul George wants out of Indiana and asks for/demands a trade.

Boston gets George

Indiana gets Bradley, turner, olynyk, Thomas, the better of macs 1st/ nets 1st, and bostons 2016 first

Boston gets a young all star small forward, George isn't forced to play the power forward.

Indiana gets a solid point forward, elite defender with expanding offensive game, a stretch power forward with lots of upside and an elite offensive spark plug to come off the bench. They add versatility, kick start the inevitable rebuild, and get a probable top 10 pick and bostons pick (prob 15-20)

I really doubt that Paul George will demand a trade or even ask for one.

2.) 03 Aug 2015 15:21:07
Pacers might be terrible this coming seasons and I could see George wanting out. So it's possible.

3.) 03 Aug 2015 16:31:16
Pacers is going to make the playoffs in that eastern conference

4.) 03 Aug 2015 22:28:30
The Pacers may look okay, but does Paul George think he can win a championship with Monta Ellis and George Hill? If they don't make the second round this year I could definitely see him demanding a trade. Boston would be a great fit

5.) 04 Aug 2015 01:21:09
I think he is the most probable "James harden " like scenario out there and Boston has the assets and cap space to get him. a future of George, smart, sullinger and crowder is awful bright. Plus rozier could become a great sixth man. Far mor potential than Thomas. Then they are just a big man away from contending in the east within the next two seasons.

I don't want to trade Noel, but this is a fair trade. Good job, but I still wouldn't do it.

2.) 30 Jun 2015 06:36:34
Take out Isaiah Thomas and this would be a good deal for the celtics. But if Isaiah has to be included I wouldn't do it, he is way to valuable off the bench

3.) 30 Jun 2015 12:57:48
Robinson is a free agent. He can simply get signed by Boston.
Noel is not being traded, at least until Embiid proves he can get on the court.

4.) 30 Jun 2015 15:25:11
This is not a trade I want to do since I like Noel but it's fair value so that part is a good job. I got to wait to trade Noel until after I find out about Embiid. I can't risk losing Noel who would be a nice combo with okafor if Embiid may never play.

For the record I do believe Embiid plays on opening day.

5.) 30 Jun 2015 15:49:56
Philly doesn't want Kelly olynk. Isiah Thomas is to small for what philly wants to do. No deal. It's not good value for the next deandre Jordan

Celtics-Bulls
Celtics get pick 22

Bulls get pick 28 & 45

Celtics draft bobby portis (16), Justin Anderson (22), rakeem Christmas (33)

Free agency
Kosta koufos & Tobias Harris

1: Marcus smart, Isaiah Thomas
2: Avery Bradley, Evan turner, James young
3: Tobias Harris, jae Crawford, Justin Anderson,
4: Jared sullenger, kelly olynyk,

4: sullenger, olynyk, portis
5: koufos, zeller , Christmas
3/assistant coach/ mentor: Gerald Wallace
Celtics keep cap flexibility and youth. They gain defense at the 4/5 spot and shooting at the 3. Also, they have Wallace' expiring contract, olynyk, and bradly as trade chips at trade deadline for more picks. Or to use to chase a star/future star.

Celtics get: 8th pick
Detroit gets: 16th, 33rd and olynyk

Celtics draft
8th: justice Winslow (very lucky), Stanley Johnson (very realistic) or hezonjah
28th: Robe rt upshaw orJustin Anderson
45th: caghnaughton

Free agency
Kosta koufos

Starting lineup:
Pg: smart
Sg: Bradley
Sf: Johnson
Pf: sullinger
C: koufos

Bench:
Thomas/Crawford/turner/zeller/upshaw/ cannaughton.

Eliminates redundancy of olynyk/sullinger. Gains young athletic wing that plays great d and has promising offensive skill set. Koufos is a young defensive minded center that can legitimately protect the paint and upshaw could be great. Or out of the nba in 4 years either way they still have koufos and zeller. I just like cannaughton and that late you might as well swing for the fences with the most athletic, hardest working prospect on the board.
Also, this scenario makes turner and zeller potential trade chips for more picks next year or to move up in next years draft. And if they ended up with Anderson at 28 then he or Johnson could play the 2/3 and Bradley is expendable.
No matter what, they gain shooting, rim protection and elite defense on the wing

why would detroit trade back for a lesser player for a late first second round pick and a bench player? They wouldn't. If they added a first in next years then I can see them doing it. But if Winslow or Mario is their I don't see them entertaining ideas of trading back not to make Boston better that is for sure.

Ok, no offer, just who do you think the C's should try to trade for this year?

I think Harrison Barnes or Derozan. Both seek like realistic people that could be available. Give up 3 for 1 and sign Holmes to fill the last roster spot.

If Barnes develops a handle or learns to distribute then he could be huge in another year or two.

Derozan can score, high quality, young SG that can play some at SF.

Also, maybe not this year but poss next summer, I think Paul George is going to be demanding a trade! To classy to go public but I bet him and bird discuss it. Maybe even by the trade deadline.

All the top tier centers look untouchable right now so I would focus on the wing. Idk what it would tak but this are the guys I think are worth making calls about.

Who do you think they should go after?

Anothersmith

1.) 29 Jul 2015 18:51:18
I would say Barnes. Barnes can have more of an offensive role in Boston and he may be intrigued by that. Next year mock draft have a lot of bigs coming out. And players like al hordford (wants to play the 4), h Whiteside (Miami might not be able to afford him), Roy hibbert, Nene boa may be able to get.

2.) 02 Aug 2015 22:49:51
But I doubt the Warriors trade Barnes unless they get an upgrade at SF

Who knows if the playoffs will be the norm going forward or if he will continue to be inconsistent. That is all I'm saying. Could he be one of the top shooting guards in the league IF what he did in the playoffs continues? Obviously. But what if he regresses to the 14-16 points a game he had during the regular season? Then he becomes an overpaid kris Middleton. That's all I'm saying. He has shown a glimpse of being great, hasn't proven that is where he will end up. If he balls out all year then he will be worth every penny of the max offer he wants. Doesn't change the fact that the Wizards can't afford him at a max on top of the rest of their roster and chase KD.

If they are just getting rid of someone to get down to 15 them PJ3 will be cut or turner is traded for a low first or high second. The team really likes olynyk and will give him some time.

Lubavitcher, completely agree. Compound that with the fact that he started playing bball 4-6 years ago and he has bad juju written all over him. I watched him at lunch a lot and he absolutely dominated but someone that is this new to the game cannot seriously sit for two years and then be expected to come back and steam role people.

Beal wants a max deal but hasn't proven anything yet. He has shown the potential to possible be one of the top young shooting guards in the league but has not been consistent enough to make the wizards believe he will be. With them pursuing KD next summer, they will have to decide between the two because they cannot afford to pay beal and KD the max salary on top of walls salary and the other guys they have on the roster. The need to trade now or around the deadline so that they truly pursue KD and get value for beal. Thomas/turner and a first might be a little low but not that much. Washington holds little power in this negotiation and will have de. To sell a little low. The worst of Pistons 3 first rounders will probably be a 16-17 overall at the lasted two so it's not that bad of a pick. I would honestly even offer any combination the 3 of Thomas/Bradley/turner/C's own 2016 first round pick. If they want all three players great if they want to players and a mid first rounder awesome, either is a fair offer. Thomas is a proven sixth man, AB is a great defender and good second/third offensive option and turner is a solid all around player on an expiring contract. Lots of value to a team going after the biggest FA fish out there.

I really like this trade. Beal has more upside than Thomas and turner. As long as it is the least favorable of bostons first rounders in 2016 draft.
