76ers Get: Enes Kanter, 2018 Bulls 2nd, 2018 OKC 2nd

OKC Get: Jahlil Okafor

76ers finally move Okafor and acquire a player that's far more suited to coming off of the bench.

OKC escape the luxury tax and free up a lot of money for the extensions of Russell Westbrook and Paul George.

love it but take away one or two seconds because okafor is injury prone.

Rockets Get: Carmelo Anthony

Bucks Get: Ryan Anderson

Knicks Get: Mirza Teletovic, Matthew Dellavedova, Gary Payton II (waive), Isaiah Taylor (waive), Tim Quarterman (waive), Shawn Long (waive), 2018 Bucks 2nd, 2020 Rockets 1st

Why are you waiving those players. are u the gm of the knicks?

2.) 11 Aug 2017 04:06:58
I would do this if I bucks but I don't think knocks do it.

3.) 11 Aug 2017 13:56:03
Add Henson and noah.

Cavs Receive:

Andre Drummond (8% trade kicker) - 25,677,547
Courtney Lee - 11,747,890
2018 Top 3 Protected Pistons 1st
2020 Top 3 Protected Pistons 1st

Total out - 37,768,625
Total in - 37,425,437

Pistons Receive:

Kyrie Irving (15% trade kicker) - 21,698,919
Tristan Thompson - 16,400,000
Richard Jefferson - 2,500,000

Total out - 39,775,506
Total in - 40,598,919

Knicks Receive:

Reggie Jackson - 16,000,000

Total out - 11,747,890
Total in - 16,000,000

Cleveland acquire a blooming star that's under contract for another 3 seasons in the form of Drummond and Lee would instantly become the team's best perimeter defender.

Detroit get an elite point guard that, according to himself, would consistently lead them to the playoffs.

New York swap out a surplus player for a new point guard that desperately needs a change of scenery.

not even close. There is not way Kyrie goes to Detroit. They don't have enough talent to offer up. Try again.

2.) 26 Jul 2017 16:07:27
I like this but i think kyrie should be traded for another starting caliber pg even if they have rose. Rose would be best suited as an off the bench spark and it would for sure lower his risk if injury. I say reggie and kyrie for drummond and jackson would be better.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 16:08:18
I mean kyrie and thompson for reggie and drummond.

4.) 26 Jul 2017 17:44:08
That's bad for Cavs. If they are looking to rebuild they should be able to find a more attractive offer and giving up Kyrie AND Thompson for Drummond won't make them better in short term (Thompson doesn't have his upside but is nearly as good a rebounder and a much better defender) .

Pistons Get: Ryan Anderson, Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson

Knicks Get: Reggie Jackson, Channing Frye, Trevor Ariza

Cavaliers Get: Andre Drummond, Boban Marjonovic, Ish Smith, 2018 Top 3 Protected Pistons 1st, 2020 Unprotected Rockets 1st, 2020 Top 5 Protected Pistons 1st

Rockets Get: Carmelo Anthony

As a Pistons fan, I'd be ecstatic if that package could land Kyrie; but it can't. Plus giving up those picks gives the Pistons nothing to build around Kyrie with, so he'd probably leave as a free agent in 2019.

Bulls Get: Cole Aldrich, Jahlil Okafor

Cavaliers Get: Robin Lopez, Andrew Wiggins, Tyus Jones, 2019 top 10 protected Timberwolves 1st

76ers Get: Channing Frye, 2018 OKC 1st (via MIN)

Timberwolves Get: Kyrie Irving, Bulls 2020 2nd

Not bad but if I were Cavs I'd keep it simple and just deal with Twolves. Something like Irving and Frye for Wiggins and Dieng.

2.) 26 Jul 2017 00:51:36
Sixers say hell yes. A late first and frye for Okafor. couldn't ask for a better return.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 02:35:08
For all of you saying that Wiggins is the better choice of him and Melo, I would disagree. Wiggins is not the best he can be yet and Lebron is on the team for at least another season, but Cleveland can't lose of the GOATs for the second time. The goal is to keep Lebron and keep him happy by bringing in Melo and trying to get him to stay. Melo would waive because if they aren't happy, they both can leave the next year due to both of them having player options.

4.) 27 Jul 2017 19:11:38
Bmfims- Between the 2 players, Wiggins would be better fit, but I agree that they should go for Melo to try to keep Lebron happy.

Knicks Get: Wesley Matthews, Cole Aldrich, Devin Harris, 2019 Warriors 2nd (via Mavericks), 2021 Cavs 1st and 2023 Heat 2nd (via Mavericks)

Mavericks Get: Kevin Love

Cavaliers Get: Carmelo Anthony

Timberwolves Get: Iman Shumpert

Wesley Matthews can immediately replace Carmelo Anthony in the Knicks starting lineup, Cole Aldrich's '18-19 salary is only partially guaranteed and Devin Harris fits the bill as a veteran point guard to compliment Frank Ntilikina.

Dallas could create a sneakily good tandem of Kevin Love and Nerlens Noel through this trade. Matthews, Harris and a pair of 2nd round picks is a small price to pay for a player that can average 25+ppg as the franchise piece.

Cleveland shake up their roster following an embarrassing loss to the Warriors in the NBA Finals. Anthony is a close friend of LeBron James and Cleveland should be pulling out all the stops to retain James when he hits free agency in 2018.

Minnesota swap a player that isn't even in the rotation for a legitimate perimeter defender that they've long been linked with. Iman Shumpert shot an impressive 36% from 3pt range last season and can help with the Timberwolves' spacing issues, assuming that he doesn't return to his abysmal >30% slump that plagued his '15-16 season.

So the Cavs don't just give up Love (to much for Melo), but they add a first and Shumpert? This is awful for the Cavs.

2.) 21 Jul 2017 11:51:04
I'm just amazed how you think the mavs get love for this.

The bad players of Matthews Harris and 2 far off second rounders is a small price to pay for a sneaky franchise player? Did you think that making a huge trade and lots and lots of fillers would confuse people to believe it's possible? Well done ddrainer. Always amazed at the absurdity of mavs fans trades on here.

Knight, Murray and Melo starting together? I don't think Millsap can guard four players at once.

I don't think Houston willing to give up Ariza in any deal, he's very close friends with CP3.

I don't see Melo getting traded unless the Rockets get really desperate. I still think there's a good chance that Melo gets his buyout and signs for the Cavs or Rockets.

Phil Jackson is pretty dumb, but I'd like to think that he's not THAT dumb.
