Raptors Trade: Demarre Carroll

Spurs Trade: Danny Green
Carroll and Green both on 10 million dollars contacts. They both kinda need a new change in scenery. Raptors get their 3pt perimeter shooter of the bench, and the Spurs get a backup SF in Carroll behind Simmons and Leonard. Bruno Caboclo a wild card talent to sweeten the deal as Green>Carroll.

Check the numbers, Carroll is on a much bigger contract ($14.8M for 17-18) than Green. Caboclo has no value, and the Spurs need help at the PG and PF/ C spots, not another SF to back up Leonard. Bad trade for the Spurs.

Agrew with Triangle. If they trade Green, it would be for cheaper players/ picks to open up cap space or a pg or combo guard. Who knows when/ if Parker will be back and how well he'll beable to play if he does. Manu may retire and really can't be a primary ball handler any more. They need someone who can create shots other than Leonard and I don't think that guy is on the roster right now. Carroll is another 3 and D guy. Pop has a knack for creating those out of athletic 2nd round picks. Why take on that contract for a slightly worse player than Green and guy who can't even crack an NBA rotation right now?

I don't even know who that is. this is like the unsexy draft trade to dump someone for both sides when they don't like a player. Denver has too many on the bottom of the roster.

Atlanta doesn't nee a pointguard, they give Teague away, because they believe in schroder.
Millsap is great, old for the Suns, they should give those young talents playing time. No use for Bender and Chriss to sit on the bench.

They gave away Teague so that Dennis could start, but now they need a backup. Knight would give them that.
Suns say no as they give up a lot of assets for a guy who won't re-sign in PHX a year from now, and the team is not going to contend this year.

Millsap makes no sense in PHX with an expiring contract and them spending two lotto picks on guys that play the same position. Also, they are giving up a fair bit of young value. Len showed promising flashes and will make a bunch of money next summer and Knight is one of better young pgs in the league and locked into a now cheap contract.

I would think with the way the Kings are just trying to get rid of Gay that the Heat wouldn't need to include the first. With that said, the Heat wouldn't be able to take on Gay's contract I don't believe.

Boston overpay largely. Surely those top 3 picks on 17' and 18' will be better than pg13. Also there's no reason why Indiana should rebuild, pg is his prime, turner will become a top 5 stretch centre and they has nice assets (Teague, Robinson young)
