PHX-MIN

MIN receives: Warren, Bender, Bridges, MIL 2019 1st rd pick
-MIN gets a haul of prospects and a 1st rd pick for Butler. Maybe the best package a team could offer them.

PHX receives: Butler, Jones
- PHX rolls the dice and try to contend this year. Make Butler comfortable a la George-OKC. Sign a point guard next season(Kyrie or Kemba) and resign Butler.

2019-2020 lineup would be Kyrie, Booker, Butler, Jackson, Ayton. 6th man - Jones. Contenders.

Oh Kyrie is going from Celtics to the suns Hmmm #%*€%#*¥.

2.) 11 Oct 2018 06:04:50
That is the best case scenario for PHX but Kemba would do as well.

NYK-PHX

PHX receive: Noah, Lee, Ntilikina, Robinson

Solve PG problem, prospects with the same timeline as their core

NYK receives: Chandler, Warren, Bender, 2018 second rd pick

Gets rid of the distraction in Noah. Additional $15m+ in cap space next season, gain prospects. Bender can learn post moves from Kanter. Kanter can learn Defense from Chandler. Warren-THJ-Knox-Hezonja wing rotation looks promising.

Pg problem needs a proven player not Frank.

2.) 08 Oct 2018 13:16:37
Knicks would never give up frank and Robinson to dump noah salary only to take on Warren. Frank is 2 yrs away from being the best on ball defender on any guard, hopefully passing and vision come thru as well. Potentially the next "Glove". Robinson is even better than Frank.

3.) 08 Oct 2018 14:24:01
Suns would never trade for a non-starting caliber PG.

4.) 08 Oct 2018 14:34:52
Well now, as a knicks fan, I can say, shizzee. you're evaluations of the prospects is absurd.

Frank is 2 years away from being the best defending guard in the league? Seeing as Murray, Olidapo and Holiday are all 3 all defensive players and guards and young. ill strongly disagree with that. Potentially the next glove? Just stop it. he's still fighting to be a fringe starter, let alone a potential hall of famer.

Then to say robinson is even better. he hasn't played a minute in the NBA. You are already anointing him as this insane prospect. you sound almost as ridiculous as II claiming that josh hart has kobe bryant potential.

5.) 08 Oct 2018 16:21:27
Shizzee, I’m also a Knicks fan, and you’re making us look bad here.

Robinson has looked completely lost so far this preseason, and while he has contributor potential, he’ll likely spend at least the first portion, of not the majority of the season in the G.

As for Frank, his ceiling is Shaun Livingston with a better jump shot and closer to his pre-injury athleticism. At gis ceiling, he’ll be a valuable sixth man, guarding multiple positions effectively, being a quality secondary ball handler, and making just enough open threes to keep teams honest.

triangle. i posted it first, meaning you copied me. deal with it ;)

PHX-BOS-LAC

PHX receives: Rozier, Baynes

BOS rceives: Harris, Beverley

LAC receives: Warren, Morris, 2019 MIL 1st via PHX

Thoughts?

This trade has technical problems.

1. Baynes cannot be traded until Dec. 15.
2. Celtics are taking back too much salary (19.8mm) for what they are giving up (13.7).

Clippers have set up for a run at Kawhi Leonard. Warren has a 4 year deal. Most teams would consider this a plus, but not the Clippers. They say no.

Boston doesn't need to make a trade and this deal doesn't make them better. Boston doesn't do a deal unless they are the clear winner. Not happening here.

Great deal for Phoenix. They are the only winner.

2.) 17 Sep 2018 11:30:51
Boston is happy with its current roster if KD or AD comes available maybe they would go for it.

3.) 17 Sep 2018 13:34:40
Baynes can't be traded. He signed a 2 yr deal with a NT clause the 1st yr and a player option the 2nd yr. So he can't be traded till next year unless he waived the NT. Boston needs him this year.

4.) 17 Sep 2018 14:02:07
Semiagree with Rad. The list is probably a little bigger than that, but they’re really only missing that 1 elite player. Tatum and maybe Brown could be elite and Irving is on the end of elite, but they need that 1 guy or a young big that has that upside.

NYK-OKC-MIL

NYK
Out: Porzingis, Noah, Lee
In: Parker, Monroe, Hawes, McDermott, Grant, 2022 1st rd pick

OKC
Out: Adams, McDermott, Grant, 2022 1st rd pick
In: Noah, Porzingis

MIL
Out: Parker, Monroe, Hawes
In: Adams, Lee

New York does this to get rid of Noah and Lee's 3 more years of guaranteed contracts at the expense of Porzingis. In return receive potential all-star talent in Parker. All they receive are expiring contracts.

OKC does this to have their 3rd scorer although they would have the 2 worst contracts in the league with Kanter and Noah.

MIL does this to get their post presence which suits their young core.

Follow-up trade for NY maybe on the trade deadline if they are still no takers for Melo..

NYK-LAL

Melo for Clarkson, Randle

Bring the banana boat to Lakers in 2018.

NYK
Ntilikina, Sessions
THJ, Clarkson, McDermott
Parker, Grant, Thomas
Randle, Hawes
Hernangomez, Monroe
+ lots of caps space next season

2.) 04 Aug 2017 12:11:26
Lord no from the Knicks. They get a broken prospect and some dead weight and a pick 8 years away for porzingis? Oh they drop Noah's contract. Amazing.

3.) 04 Aug 2017 19:44:22
The bucks aren't going to sell that low on parker.

4.) 04 Aug 2017 23:14:22
I actually don't hate Bucks adding Adams for Parker especially when you consider what you'll have to pay Parker to keep him around after this season (likely a max assuming he doesn't suffer another major injury) . No Adams isn't as good as Parker pre-injury (but Parker isn't likely to be as good as he was pre-injury) but he is a great fit with the Bucks and gives them what they need as a big interior force that can rebound and defend. Adams is also young enough at 24 to grow with that young Bucks team. Better yet they could try and nab Porzingis for themselves. Porzingis, Maker and Giannis would make a freakish front court.

Great value for Thunder.

Hate for the Knicks. Not sure why they want to clear salary space so bad (their recent history shows they don't spend it well and without Porzingis why would any top free agent want to go there) . Parker is a risk that I wouldn't want as my primary return if I were giving up Porzingis especially when a primary motivator is to free salary space but Knicks would have to pay Parker probably the max in RFA this summer in order to keep him.

This is basically the package they offered for Kyrie just added Monroe. If the bucks think that Irving is worth this much then for me I would be more willing to trade for this package. This would leave bucks a 2-4 seed.

Conley, Delly
Snell, Sign Tony Allen
Giannis, Wilson
Parker, Teletovic
Gasol, Maker

This lineup would challenge Warriors, well atleast doesn't get them swept. Lol. Conley and Gasol are still elite and doesn't look likely to lose a step just yet. And Kobe just challenged Giannis to become MVP so I think the mentality is there. If your star player thinks that way, you have to pull the trigger. Besides, if they wait, what would happen if Giannis bails out after his contract? Or be disappointed with the front office for being passive and demanded for a trade?

As for Memphis, I think they could ask for more. Or maybe look for a better offer. Lol
