Pels: Hill, W. Johnson '19 1st

Bulls: Parker

1.) 15 Dec 2018 03:06:46
Parker won't get a first in return.

2.) 15 Dec 2018 03:51:18
Hill has another season @ 13mil next year. 1st covers that. They may be able to utilize Parker in a scoring role?

14 Dec 2018 18:21:34
Blazers: Leonard, Harkless, Turner, '19 1st

Bulls: Lopez, Parker, Holiday

1.) 14 Dec 2018 20:01:09
I'd love to have RoLo back. He's such a great team rebounder and just fun guy to have on the team.

Parker is the kind of guy that teams like Portland have to take a shot with. Worst case scenario, Portland rids a bunch of soon-to-be expiring deals for a first. Best case scenario, Lillard and McCollum drive some work ethic into him and he's their third star.

2.) 14 Dec 2018 20:48:46
Bmiller66, agreed. Some weight loss, physical strength, effort on the defensive end, could get him far. Stauskas could teach him a thing or two about hustle and hard work too. Could be a really good SF Paul pierce type player if he played some D and got in shape.

3.) 14 Dec 2018 20:51:47
Also, if the Bulls flat waive Turner, Leonard, Harkless they can deduct what other teams pay them, when they are picked up, off their cap sheet. Next season likely.

4.) 14 Dec 2018 22:39:01
Love to see this. I want to see cj and dame with better help.

5.) 14 Dec 2018 23:22:50
@ Btec, and Bmiller, Milwaukee tried that. That's why after 2 knee surgeries. Parker never returned to his former self. Another reason The Bucks didn't resign him and let him walk. He basically lost his heart, and played no defense. Chicago thought they were getting a deal. Apparently not. Pity, but, Those things happen. the Bulls will try and trade him, but, Teams should be Leary of signing him more to a 1 yr deal. let him earn it again!

6.) 15 Dec 2018 03:56:19
I really wasn't fantasy hyping Parker. He's only on a one year anyway Torque. Nobody would pick up his option for next season. It will take an entire season to get him in shape and learn D, if it's even possible. He's borderline out of the league if he can't make some changes.

13 Dec 2018 20:21:57
Blazers: Ariza, Randolph

Suns: Shumpert, E.Turner

Kings: Anderson, Harkless, '19 POR 1st, '19 swap 2nds w/Suns option.

1.) 13 Dec 2018 21:39:41
Finally, one I could kind of agree with. But I think I would still pass if I were Divac so that I would still have a shot at Otto Porter Jr.

Plus, I would be shocked if Portland would ever consider taking ZBo back after the way he left Portland. Maybe with new ownership.

2.) 13 Dec 2018 22:20:27
Suns need a pg. Hiw does this help them?

3.) 13 Dec 2018 23:34:13
Sums are a lottery team. Shumpert and Turner both play the point.

4.) 14 Dec 2018 00:23:12
Kings need a legit starting wing, preferably younger than Ariza. Don’t think kings need more picks, have plenty of young talent, need to use cap space to overpay for a legit player.

5.) 14 Dec 2018 00:42:38
Shump and turner are PGs? I thought kings had Fox and Mason. I watch blazers turner doesn't handle the balks as much as 3 guards on roster.

6.) 14 Dec 2018 00:45:38
Fredman, you like Porter, you've mentioned it several times. Kings could easily trade for him, why have they not, what opening are they waiting on? Porter is high cash risk, low reward in my opinion. I'd rather have Batum.

7.) 14 Dec 2018 01:50:20
Btec- since when? I watch kings and irs masin and fox. Portland guards control the ball.

8.) 14 Dec 2018 03:21:03
Turner is the PG of the second unit all the time. Has been, off and on since he was in Portland. Last season they were trying to play him @ 2-3 with Napier getting the back-up PG minutes. This season Turner is the clear PG again of the 2nd unit. Shump has been a PG his entire career until this season, because the kings are playing him at SF because they need one so bad. Or starting 2 SG's with shump as a 2, whatever tickles your fancy.

9.) 14 Dec 2018 03:24:22
Hyena, Fredman likes Porter, is that what you have in mind? Expiring deals sometimes net you Jae crowder at the end of the day without giving something up. The kings don't have a 1st this season why wouldn't they want a pick?

10.) 14 Dec 2018 22:08:40
I like Porter because his position, age, style of play (plays off the ball) and length of contract fits very well with the Kings current ypung players. Also, i don't believe it will take a lot of assets to land him in a trade. Just have to have the right assets and cap space is huge because it enables to Washington below the luxury tax level. Not many owners are cool with paying a luxury tax for a non-playoff team. If washington is not a playoff team by the trade deadline, you can bet on someone grttong traded.

11 Dec 2018 01:45:20
Kings: Shumpert, Randolph, Koufos, McLemore

Suns: Ariza, Anderson

1.) 11 Dec 2018 03:41:10
Need 2 first rounders from Phoenix in order to take on Anderson remaining salary. Anderson has been offered to the Kings before and they hace straight refused to take on his salary.

Willing to send Phoenix Yogi Farrell, Ben Maclemore and a 2020 2nd rounder for Ariza thou .

2.) 11 Dec 2018 04:10:58
Windhorst reported the Kings are actively trying to acquire players to help them get in the playoffs. If the Suns would take that ram-shackle crew? The Suns could get a 1st for Ariza otherwise. Anderson is only 15.6 mil next season, all the kings players traded are not needed, Ariza definitely fills their giant hole @ SF. Which Bogdanovich and Hield can't defensively. Keep koufos and McLemore, forgot kings have some cap. A 1st rd pick 20-25 is probably valued around 15mil. A decent 2nd is about 5mil.

3.) 11 Dec 2018 04:27:38
I thinks it's good trade.

4.) 11 Dec 2018 11:35:14
Btec. I don't know where you got your info from, but Ryan Anderson salary is $20 mil this season and $21 mil next season.

Also, on another fanbased website, we looked at salary dump trades and determined a mid 1st rounder to be worth $18 mil in salary cap. Using that evaluation is where the two first rounders are needed for Anderson's $20 and $21 mil salaries.

5.) 11 Dec 2018 13:46:57
You are dead wrong. Look it up. It's 15.6. Use basketball reference it gets updates frequently. Please don't make a habit of calling me out, and then not using good sources, is the reason why. Picks 20-25 aren't mid round picks. Picks 13-17 would be mid round.

6.) 11 Dec 2018 17:11:38
Even if you're right Fredman, you're still wrong.

If a first is worth 18 million, then you're saying that they're ~2 million under. Yet you are not factoring in Ariza's value (which is about a first) or the 4 guys from the Kings (who have minimal value at best, negative value at worst) .

Two firsts would be worth 36 million, far more than Anderson's contract. A second rounder would fill the gap, not another first.

7.) 12 Dec 2018 02:58:48
Ummm. Anderson's total contract is over $41 mil for starters.

Ariza is only worth a 1st rounder if Phoenix is willing to take back a bad contract (which they are not willing because they could just take MKP and a 1st from the Lakers and not need a 3rd team) .

Plus, the Kings 4 expiring contracts listed above have more trade worth than Ariza does. That $35 mil in expiring contracts is worth how many 1st rounders + bad contracts? 2? Yea. I thought so.

Still a bad deal for Sacramento.

8.) 12 Dec 2018 07:40:02
Use basketball reference. You are spreading fake news or lying if you prefer to say Anderson is owed 40mil anything. Why are you being stubborn on this fact about Anderson being paid 15.6mil next season? The info is everywhere! Expiring contracts are worth 0 picks. They are only useful in trades when acquiring other contracts/ salary. Give it up. Ego's are only with saving when they are attached to human beings.

10 Dec 2018 20:03:07
Cavs: Love,

Grizzlies: Parsons, D.Brooks, '20 1st

I think Griz are getting an injury exception for Parsons? Not sure if it transfers? If it does, Cavs gain room to acquire more salary dumps, assets, etc before deadline, and next season too.

1.) 10 Dec 2018 23:55:26
Cavs need to add 2 1st not grizz.

2.) 11 Dec 2018 01:03:04
Apparently the Griz aren't getting injured player credit for Parsons because knee soreness doesn't qualify, at least so far it hasn't, but it that change supposedly. It is transferable and would allow a team to go approx. 12.5mil tax free over the luxury line. Could be a winfall for the Griz later.

Does Joakim Noah look noticeably smaller to anyone? He looks quick, and athletic. How prolific are P.E.D.'s in the NBA? Not much said about it

1.) 14 Dec 2018 18:26:21
Unless there's a needle sticking out of them then I don't think they really care. Do they have a testing policy? Like in training camp or maybe just a random test sometime during the season. Each sport has different policies on testing, some allow more nanograms in their system than other sports do. Not sure how the system works to be honest.

2.) 14 Dec 2018 18:34:14
Noah doesn't look slow or anything but he looks like he lost some girth and now needs a jump shot.

12 Dec 2018 22:50:19
I feel bad for the Suns fans. Sarver is a greedy little troll. Tax-payer funded arena for his NBA team? He has had since 2004 to figure this out, on his own. I like basketball, but my Aunt doesn't, and likens being forced to pay for the Suns arena to forced slavery! Good luck, my aunt is a phoenix area code property owner, and resident.

1.) 14 Dec 2018 16:44:14
The NBA should be on the hook for Sarvers dirty deals!

10 Dec 2018 16:24:03
I'd really like to see the Cavs get Jake Laymen. I think he would make them a lot better. Can get his own shot and spot up shoot. No one can do that besides sexton, clarkson

1.) 10 Dec 2018 17:15:42
I'd like to see Portland just start Layman and move Harkless to the bench. Harkless is wildly inconsistent, especially his effort level. That's one thing I don't think I ever question in Layman. Layman is a nice utility player that can do quite a few things decently, and his defense has improved quite a bit this year.

A Layman/ Hood swap could make sense, but having Hood and Harkless as Portland's two main SF's would be concerning. Both guys seem to have effort issues. Both are horribly inconsistent. Both look great when they're 100% engaged.

2.) 10 Dec 2018 17:53:30
Layman, Harkless, Turner are a gang of misfits. I think losing one of them or supplanting with a guy like Hood is a lateral move, and this was passive aggressive larping Bmiller66. I actually like layman alright but Hood making any sort of a difference for the blazers is absurd! Utah got crowder for him. He hasn't put a consistent game streak of any kind together ever that I know of. Exactly what Portland needs right now; unreliable non-lockdown defender, expiring 25 year old. Merry Christmas from CLE!

3.) 10 Dec 2018 19:35:35
Agreed, might as well just play Harkless if you want an inconsistent wing. Two at once would be infuriating.

08 Dec 2018 00:28:56
Who's more likely to play more for Milwaukee? Dekker OR Hill? Dekker is the shooter and Hill is the defender?

1.) 08 Dec 2018 02:14:04
Never mind Jason smith is the new guy.

2.) 08 Dec 2018 02:18:58

05 Dec 2018 17:32:36
Who are the Rockets waiving House off their roster, to prepare for?

1.) 05 Dec 2018 21:12:26
My first thought was Ariza, but can they get him really? They would have to trade Gordon to get him and i don't think that's happening.

2.) 05 Dec 2018 21:24:11
Jr Smith.

3.) 06 Dec 2018 19:11:34
Lee, Nkilitina.

4.) 07 Dec 2018 01:32:51
Gary Clark. That was exciting.

Until July 1, 2019 when Irving's contract expires. It has a lot of parts for its full explanation, but in general Davis, and Irving are both Rose Rule max contracts currently, and no team may possess more than 1 Rose Rule player contract.
