Why would the Bulls want another big?

2.) 10 Apr 2019 22:30:29
Adam's is only rim protector okc has.

3.) 11 Apr 2019 00:28:16
I agree. Adams would be hard to move for OKC unless they are getting a star. I’m not saying Lavine isn't one but Adams just fit so well with them. OKC must find role players especially off their bench.

4.) 11 Apr 2019 07:07:49
Adams size free's up shooting in the high screen, and roll. Nurkic does the same for the blazers, they are both wide loads, and create a lot of space for their teams offenses. Hard to replace without retooling a bit. GSW picked up Bogut to be able to match-up to the big boys.

5.) 12 Apr 2019 14:33:05
I don’t see the Bulls giving up Wendell Carter right now, so the OKC and Miami trades are unlikely.

bulls trade: dunn and portis

sixers trade: fultz

Sixers go all out and get two nice young bench players for their title push.

Bulls give a former 1st overall pick that they can let start and develop.

Laugh at that offer philly fans. don't get greedy. I like sixers to get out of right now. Fultz 3 2nd for Mudiay.

Bulls Trade: Lavine, Carter, Portis, 2019 1st round pick (proj top 5)

Pelicans Trade: Anthony Davis

Bulls get superstar that they have been looking for. Can pair with Lauri in front court. Chase Kyrie or Kawhi in offseason.

Pelicans get a good core to build around. Carter projects to be an all star in the future, Lavine score with the best of them, and Portis is a solid piece. Combine this with 2 first round picks likely near the top 5, and pelicans would be well on their way to a succesfull rebuild.

Is this enough for Davis? Would Bulls have to give up Lauri?

Feels like more of a pre-draft trade. If the Bulls pick was set at top 5, I could see this happening.

2.) 28 Jan 2019 18:38:28
I feel like the Pelicans would need Markkannen.

3.) 28 Jan 2019 18:43:12
And I could see Davis opting out the following year.

4.) 28 Jan 2019 19:46:33
Davis/ Markkanen is a very interesting frontcourt, but that's really all they would have at that point and Davis likely leaves ASAP. I think they should build with the two big guys they already have either use the pick on a guy like Morant or Barrett, or trade the pick for futures the night of the draft. if they wind up with #1, they face an interesting situation. You have the obvious #1 at a position you have two good young kids coming up. Do you take him and trade one of the other two, trade the pick, keep all three?

What do are the chances that this is the last year dominated by super teams? With KD, Klay, and Cousins being free agents and Lebron getting older, I could see the championship race being far more wide open. This would lead to less teams tanking and an overall more competitive league where teams like the pacers and nuggets would have a legitimate shot at winning a title.

I hope so.

2.) 28 Jan 2019 23:50:21
The NBA has been dominated by superteams for its entire history. It's never ending. Maybe there's a lull occasionally, but the Bulls, Lakers, Celtics, Rockets were all superteams.

3.) 29 Jan 2019 00:48:03
Spurs had 3 hof all they drafted and weak ass admiral.

4.) 29 Jan 2019 15:01:47
Good call, the spurs had 4 hall of famers during their runs. Definitely a super team.

5.) 30 Jan 2019 16:22:51
It will be more wide open, but you're definitely still going to be left with the Haves and Have-Nots. You shouldn't be stuck with the same teams in the Finals every year, but (unless they all team up again in different cities) you'll probably look more like the East across the board. 5 or so teams that are in the hunt, and then everyone else who's just kind of there, with a few who are terrible.
