The thunder desperately need help to close out games and a upgrade on the bench bc they can't rely on Josh Huestis to be that 5th guy off the bench he's proven to be just another andre Roberson with the occasional 3. Lou Williams seems like a perfect match for the thunder with the clippers looking to deal just about anyone except Blake griffin to get picks and young assets to pair with griffin for the future and Williams is the perfect match for the thunder he fills in the extra help off the bench great offensively and defensively and most importantly is great on closing games.
OKC: Lou Williams
LAC: Josh Huestis, Dakari Johnson, Kyle Singler, and 1 or 2 2nd round picks depending on if LA has to take on any salary

1.) 27 Nov 2017 15:21:19
None of those guys would ever see minutes for the clippers. why would they do this? dekker, thornwell, harrell, reed, rivers, wes johnson would all play over those 3.

2.) 28 Nov 2017 23:44:02
Yeah but there’s still getting picks and some potentially good role players Kyle Singler was just supposed to help with salary it’s better than them getting nothing Williams is just going to walk away anyways might as well get something for him and one of the thunder 2nd round pick is basically a first round pick since Chicago is going to be the worst team in the league.

Now that okc has melo they need to get a back up 5.
First off that happens is okc agree to deal with wade once he is bought it out.
Then u trade
jermi grant semj Christon and another in guaranteed salary and possibly a couple of second round picks if u need
Then sign a 3 string pg to
Pg:Westbrook/ Felton/ min
Sg:Roberson/ abrines/
Sf:George/ wade/ huestis
Pf: Anthony/ patterson.

Let's be honest the thunder can't make any huge significantly big moves without going over the cap because they want to reset the clock of going over the cap 4 out of 5 seasons where you have to pay a even bigger penalty for going over the space. , which I mean isn't terrible because they will still have at the very least a little better of a team next year and here's a few things how they can.

Extend Westbrook
Resign Roberson and Gibson
The thunder obviously want to resign Roberson but sign Gibson to trade him later on to get some value from him and stay under the tax.

Trade Kanter and maybe either to the kings for willie Cauley-stein and their 10th or maybe even 6th or 8th round pick where ever they lan and the first second round pick. Or trade kanter tot he celtics if willing for their first round pick, second round pick (37) or last two second round picks and Avery Bradley. The kings trade would most likely happen.

If still don't have a back up after draft or uncertain pg could trade singler for brandon knight this would work bc both cities won't both players off their team and it would cut some cap room from the suns and give the thunder a little bit more cap room but knight would actually play.

After trades find a solid back up either in the draft or free agency and a cheap wing option that could help out team and possibly a center.

Kanter for the possible first overall pick in the draft?
I'm sure the Celtics will jump on that one as fast as they can.

2.) 13 May 2017 12:28:52
You had me until you attempted to trade Kanter for top 10 picks and/ or picking up a superior player in Bradley. Both are just ridiculous.

Kanter has little value. Don't know if you've heard, but during the playoffs Donivan at one point said to an Assistant "we can't play Kanter". That's not good to say the least.

They will be able to move Kanter, there will be teams looking for an offensive big off the bench, but I would a trade like this is much more likely:

To CHI - Kanter

To OKC - MCW (option picked up), future 2nd.

Kanter and McDermott to the Knicks for Noah and a 2nd.

Thunder offseason
Extend Westbrook

Thunder Receive Avery Bradley, Carmelo Anthony, and Kyle O'Quinn
Celtics Receive- Enes Kanter, Courtney Lee and Alex Abrines.
Knicks Receive- Steven Adams and Kyle Singler and celtics second round pick.
This works for the Thunder because they get the scoring they need and a little bit of reduced cap space.
Then you draft a solid back up and maybe buy a cheap option like Ty Lawson just in case.
Fa- With not a lot of cap room to deal with the thunder are going to have to go a little bit over the cap so I think the thunder will try and do a sign and trade with Roberson to either get otto porter with a sign and trade with the wizards or a trade for Roberson crowder with celtics.
Pg. Westbrook/ Lawson/ 21 pick (most likely a pg)
Sg. Bradley/ Oldadipo
Sf. Anthony/ Mcdermott/ Porter or Croder
Pf. Crowder or Porter/ Grant/ Mcdermott/ Sabonis/ Collision
C. O'Quinn/D. Johnson/ Sabonis/ Grant

I would rather have porter the crowder but with limited cap space unless the thunder are willing to pay more luxury tax or porter is willing to take a shorter deal then the thunder will probably have to stay with a deal with crowder which is ok but I would still rather have porter.

1.) 09 May 2017 04:48:01
Celtics would be foolish to take on salary like Kanter since he'll make it impossible for them to potentially get someone like Hayward in FA. I don't think its likely they get a big signing but Kanter isn't really the type of center they need and has a disproportionately large contract to give up a soid contributor like Bradley (although they should potentially trade him since he is coming up on final year of his deal) .

How would Thunder possibly get Crowder? I think Melo would be a good fit basketball wise but not sure he'd be willing to go to OKC.

Thunder Offseason
Extend Westbrook to Max
Resign Taj Gibson
Sign Rudy Gay, Kyle Korver, and Nick Young or J.J Reddick
Thunder and Bulls Trade
OKC gets- Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo
Bulls get- Kanter Oldadipo, Roberson if commits to signing with thunder and getting traded and a pick.

The thunder may be a little bit over the cap space the owner can stop being cheap and pay it. Thunder would get the all star they desperately need and shooter and bench depth they desperately need. Gay could become the shooting guard or the #1 bench player on the team due to the injury he just had.

While the Bulls will get the rebuild started with good young solid players. because they were never going to win with Butler anyways get rid of rondo and ge

1.) 02 May 2017 04:33:59
Add Lopez make realistic.

2.) 02 May 2017 04:39:21
Bulls can do better than that for Butler.

3.) 08 May 2017 21:26:10
How about adding adams going to the bulls and lopez going to the thunder.

There’s no way the thunder would give up Ferguson for half a year of Bradley and Detroit wouldn’t do this either.

Lol why would George go to a team that has shown no signs of being good in forever Lonzo and Ingram have been alright but the only guy that has actually gone over expectations is Kuzma there playing like the worst team in the league right now George wants to go there but not if there going to win cousins is also going to go somewhere. Where he can win he could just stay in Nola also.
