Cool with the signings, hate the draft picks. There are several prospects I like at #40 but Bazley would be better than King in my mind.

Also, like J. Porter at #47. Big man depth is still an issue even with Vucevic signing.

At 60, looking at Caleb Martin.

Also, not waiving Farrell. May waive Mason.

Also, watching for salary dumps by OKC for #21 or MIL at #30.

Hawks

The Hawks are a team to watch this off-season. They're loaded with draft picks and have cap space for a Max FA. If they want to take a chance, I can see them making a solid offer to NO similar to what Toronto did for Kawhi.

ATL- Anthony Davis
NOP- John Collins, Kevin Hueter, Allen Crabb, #8, #10, 2021 first (top 10 protected)

NOP requirement for Davis
All-Star (check)
Young Player (check)
two firsts (check)

Sign Demarcus Cousins to MAX

Draft
17- Romeo Langford, SG
35- Naz Reid, PF

44- Kris Wilkes, SF

PG- Trae Young/Carson Edwards

No all-star in that package.

2.) 11 Jun 2019 17:37:19
Collins is close enough. He clearly has the upside and already isn’t far off.

3.) 11 Jun 2019 17:50:34
Yeah, Collins has star potential, and that's two top 10 picks. If anything, that's an overpay by Atlanta.

Also, a max deal for Cousins is a horrible horrible decision.

4.) 11 Jun 2019 17:54:29
Magsnusarn, He may not be a voted All-Star, but he is better than anything NY or LA would offer. No one outside of those two teams would offer them their asking bc of his looming FA status and desire to play in either of those cities. With Durant getting hurt, i think he stays in GS one more year (accepts his $31 mil option) and changes this off-season. Making a few teams change paths, especially in the East.

5.) 11 Jun 2019 18:23:28
Bmiller66, I can't see Cousins going there without the Max. So while i agree it is an overpay for him, it would be the only way to lure him there imo. I also don't think it is too bad seeing how he is only 29 and a year removed from a dominant Big man.

6.) 11 Jun 2019 18:24:56
Not to mention Davis enjoyed playing with Cousins. It is more about giving Davis a reason to re-sign.

7.) 11 Jun 2019 18:41:07
Insider, it felt they minimized each other’s games. They were just redundant and that was ore injury Cousins. He’ll like never be that guy again.

8.) 11 Jun 2019 18:54:07
Watching him play with GS, he's a shell of his former self. He's not a top 10 center. Defensively, that injury turned him from average to horrible. I think he's pretty comparable to Kanter at this stage.

And yeah, I think the Davis/ Cousins pairing was unsuccessful. NO was better without Cousins.

1.) 07 Jun 2019 14:56:47
The pick swap part is fair value, but if I’m NO I’d rather have #3 since they’re already adding a ton of rotation pieces.

2.) 07 Jun 2019 15:29:53
Not in love with Holiday package. Outside of #6 pick, there really isn't much there.

3.) 07 Jun 2019 16:59:46
None of those Knicks players are legit NBA starters.

4.) 07 Jun 2019 19:49:33
Super- Lakers guys aren't better. Celtics guys are but with kyrie gone celtics might not want AD.

5.) 07 Jun 2019 20:06:04
Ingram > Smith Jr
Kuzma > Knox
Ball > Ntilikina

Wym they aren’t better than Knicks players.

6.) 07 Jun 2019 20:29:58
From a different perspective, I will agree with Kuzma > Knox. But the other two are pretty equal in my eyes especially considering Ingram's clot/ medical issue.

7.) 08 Jun 2019 23:52:27
The Knicks are getting AD without Mitchell Robinson.

#4- Darius Garland, PG
#6- Jarrett Culliver, SG

G- Lonzo Ball/Darius Garland
G- Jarrett Culliver/Josh Hart
F- Kyle Kuzma/Brandon Ingram
F- Zion Williamson/Mikal Bridges
C- Julius Randle/Jalil Okafor

1.) 15 May 2019 17:03:31
If I'm New Orleans, I'd rather trade Davis to the Knicks.

Right now, Robinson is more valuable that any of the Lakers young players, who have all lost of lot of their shine. Plus, those Dallas picks might end up being something nice.

2.) 15 May 2019 18:59:26
Robinson is overvalued by Knicks fans. He is great on D but offensively bad. He might get a great role player but not more. When you have Zion who might be a smallball Center when the Pels want to be contenders you don't need Robinson.
Ingram could be a star in 2-3 years. I think your take is wrong.

3.) 15 May 2019 19:37:02
Ingram could be out in a year. Clots are big deals for athletes. Ask bosh.

4.) 15 May 2019 20:04:40
I think Ingram is the third highest valued of the Laker youth. Kuzma is clearly #1, and higher value than anyone on the Knicks. I'd take Ball over Ingram too.

That said, after Kuzma, it's really splitting hair on who's youth is more valuable, it's all middling value.

5.) 15 May 2019 20:24:54
Shiller, although that wouldn't be ideal for NO, the depth allows them to take that chance on Ingram. Ingram>Knox, Ball>Smith, Kuzma>Robinson Hart>Ntilikina. The Lakers offer is far better. The only reason i could see NO sending him to NY is to get him out of the West and for the future 1st NY has to offer. If they're trying to win, they take LA's offer.

6.) 15 May 2019 21:49:23
I don't think Ingram has more value than Knox. Knox is younger and doesn't have the health question hanging over his career.

7.) 15 May 2019 22:14:22
I’d go Knicks pick, Ingram, Robinson, Lakers pick, Kuzma, Knox, DSJ, Ball, Dallas picks, Lakers picks, Knicks picks, Hart, Trier, Dotson, Wagner and then Ntilikina.

8.) 15 May 2019 22:34:19
Insider- dsj is better than ball. Kuz can't play defense and has peaked.

I don't see the logic in trading Levine for Wiggins. you even stated Levine is a better shooter and on a better contract. If they're going after him i could see it being something along the lines of Dunn, Feliciano, Hutchinson and protected future 1st (or two 2nds) . Levine, Wiggins, Porter Jr, Markkanen, Carter, plus top pick in this years draft. Gives them a lot of talent and flexibility. Levine plays better at the 1.
