Miami Heat send Dragic and Winslow
Spurs send Derozen.

With all the rumors of an extension not likely to happen, dragic clears some money and Winslow gives a good 2 way young player for the cheap.
Winslow is a better defender than Derozen by far. Dragic will help offensively.
Maybe this works.

The value seems solid, I’m not sure I would want to do it, if I were the Heat. Derozan just isn’t a good complementary piece to Butler. Derozan feels like Butler with a worse 3 ball and no d.

Who becomes Miami's primary and secondary ball handlers?

Miami and Chicago.
Mia gets Otto Porter Jr and Dunn
Chi gets Waiters, Dragic and Mateen.

Why?
So many reports about Dunn wanting out. Dragic and Waiters are huge upgrades in scoring.
Miami is on the hunt for a solid SF.
Porter fits that.
Just a thought.

No way Chicago takes on Waiters. No to mention that they were playing pretty well once Porter came in.

Miami and OKC
Miami gets CP3, Roberson, one first and one second.
OKC gets Dragic, Johsnon, Olynyk and Waiters

Why? Because OKC wants to rid themselves of CP3 and Roberson is coming off an injury.
Miami needs to rid themselves of their contracts and needs the pick to trade to Washington.

MIami and Washington.
Miami gets Beal and Wall.
Washington gets Winslow, CP3, KZ, Roberson, Leonard, 2 first round picks, one second.

Why?
Miami has been seeking Beal and rumors have it that they would have to absorb Walls contract too.
Washington needs youth, they switch and get an old healthier PG and rid themselves of wall who is suffering from a ruptured Achilles.
For Beal they are getting 2 first and one second picks, Winslow and other youth.
Washingron and OKC bothbget to rebuild and Miami gets to try and fight for the east

My opinion

It makes zero sense for OKC. Giving picks and taking long term contracts? Why? CP3 could be a great mentor for the young guys. If they trade him only if they get something back! For example expiring contracts and a first. So OKC would do nothing different than:

OKC:
- Dragic
- Leonard
- take away protection of the Miami 1st in 2023

Miami:
- CP3.

The word on the street is Miami wants one of its picks that OKC owns returned to take on Paul's contract.

There is also word that Paul is willong to opt out his last year in order to sign a 3 year extension at a lower number.

Since Westbrook went to Houston...
Miami and OKC
Miami gets CP3
OKC gets waiters and Johnson.

Why?
Well, OKC can have major cap space in the biggest free agency of stars in 2021 instead of having CP3 on the books holding them back.
Miami does it because they will have that improved backcourt they need.

Miami, OKC (total rebuild & massive cap space move for 2021 free agency.

Miami gets Westbrook, Gillinari.

OKC gets Olynyk, Winslow, Waiters, Johnson, Dragic.

OKC is in prime spot in draft and once 2021 comes all those are gone.
OkC will have enough time pitch 3 max free agents.
Miami gets to secure a playoff spot and compete for Eastern conference supremacy. They lose shooters but gain one in gillinari.

Not a good trade for the Heat. Bam is just 23 and no one in this draft is worth it.
Plus, Miami can sign Bam and Giannis (of Giannis wanted to come) . They just have to make moves. They didn't have any money for Jimmy and they figured it out, its what they do. Its a horrible trade for Miami.

I highly doubt Miami gives up Herro.
Oladipo hasn't been the same yet.
I think they prefer to give up Nunn.

No one in the Cavs is worth two 1sts. Not even a combination of players.
Love is injury prone, never plays a whole season and is aging. I wouldn't touch it.

Such a horrible trade for Miami. I'd be shocked if they did something like that, ever.
