Hawks - Lakers

Hawks gets:
27th pick (Celtics via Lakers)
28th pick (Rockets via Lakers)

Lakers gets:
31st pick (Nets via Hawks)

Hawks gets picks for their rebuild while taking on Dengs contract.

Lakers gets more cap space in 2018 and a high 2nd round pick.

21 Jun 2017 22:08:47
Lakers - Pacers - Thunder

Lakers gets:

Pacers gets:
21st pick (Thunder)
Future 2nd (Lakers)
Future 2nd (Lakers)

Thunder gets:
27th pick (Celtics via Lakers)
28th pick (Rockets via Lakers)

Lakers gets George as a star and have his bird rights next year.

Pacers gets a better value by getting the Thunder pick and two 2nds than the 27th and 28th Lakers offered earlier.

Thunder move back in the draft and gets some cap relief by moving Singler.

Stop it. Pay for the price or wait bbq the yr.

21 Jun 2017 21:05:29
Knicks - Rockets

Knicks gets:
2018 1st round pick (top 20 protected)

Rockets gets:
2017 2nd round pick (44th)

1.) 21 Jun 2017 22:37:18
That seems about right. Rockets save $15M and pick up a decent backup big. This move alone would bring the Rockets down to $76M, giving them about $25M to spend. They may not even have to do anything else in this scenario to get a big name FA.

2.) 21 Jun 2017 23:05:30
. Add Beverly forget the picks. Phil Jackson 1st trade he did look like an idiot.

3.) 21 Jun 2017 23:09:31
Yes Rockets want to shed salary, but Anderson is in no way a "salary dump". He has great upside, so to cough up him and a 1st round pick for scraps is unrealistic. Knicks would have to throw in a couple of additional first round picks or remove Rockets sending 2018 1st rd pick out of the deal.

4.) 22 Jun 2017 02:06:08
Gobblyguber while I agree Anderson isn't a salary dump you have to take into account the circumstances. Moving max contracts is no easy feat so I think Rockets would have to grease the wheels a little bit if they were serious about getting something done. I also don't believe trading a late-round first really hurts a team as good as the Rockets. If you think of it from another perspective they are basically trading Anderson and 2018 highly protected first for CP3 or Millsap which isn't a bad trade at all. They would also be getting O'quinn who is a solid and cheap backup big.

20 Jun 2017 08:55:36
Hornets - Knicks

Hornets gets:
8th pick
44th pick

Knicks gets:

1.) 20 Jun 2017 10:21:50
Not enough compensation for Hornets to take Noah's contract and give away a starter in Williams. I think its closer if Knicks took Plumlee instead of Williams but even then doesn't help Hornets much. Also, unless Monk is available still not sure Smith or Ntilikina are that great of a fit and at #11 they can likely get whomever remains out of Z. Collins and Markkanen.

19 Jun 2017 22:36:30
Celtics - Knicks

Celtics gets:
8th pick

Knicks gets:
3rd pick

1.) 19 Jun 2017 22:53:03
I value Crowder over Anthony because of age, defense, contract, and role on offense.

2.) 19 Jun 2017 23:09:17
That's a huge over pay for Melo.

3.) 20 Jun 2017 01:49:12
Crowder for Melo and I'd be happy as a Knicks fan, getting 3 for 8 at the same time is an overpay by the C's. Maybe Rozier and O'Quinn get thrown in respectively as both help fill a void on the other team, but picks aren't going to work unless they're closer in value.

Celtics - Clippers

Celtics gets: Griffin, Pierce

Clippers gets: Johnson, Crowder, Jerebko, Brooklyn 1st 2017 (swap) and their own 2019 1st back

Thomas/ Rozier/ Jackson
Bradley/ Smart/ Young
Brown/ Pierce/ Green
Griffin/ Olynyk/ Mickey
Horford/ Zeller

Paul/ Rivers/ Felton
Redick/ Crawford/ Anderson
Crowder/ Johnson
Johnson/ Jerebko/ Bass/ Johnson
Jordan/ Speights/ Stone.

30 Jun 2016 19:42:40

Hawks gets: Kanter, Singler, 2nd

Thunder gets: Horford (S&T)

Resign Durant (1+1 Max)

Pick up option on Ilyasova and Morrow

Match any offer for Waiters

Thunder lineup:
Westbrook/ Payne
Oladipo/ Waiters/ Huestis
Durant/ Roberson/ Morrow
Horford/ Ilyasova/ Collison
Adams/ McGary/ Sabonis

Thunder have bird rights on Durant and Waitera so they can go over the cap to resign them but then they don't have any money left. If Waiters is on a big deal they probably trade him during the offseason in 2017 and make Payne their sixth man.

1.) 30 Jun 2016 20:55:46
I disagree with bringing back Waiters. I'd rather sign Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, or Jared Dudley.

2.) 30 Jun 2016 22:20:38
Don't need waiters when they have olidipo.

3.) 30 Jun 2016 23:06:28
Sam Presti gave up a first round pick to get Waiters so he will not let him walk. Resign him and if he doesn't fit you look to trade him for future assets.

11 Jun 2016 13:58:23
Magic offseason

Hawks gets: Vucevic, 2nd

Magic gets: Splitter, Korver, 21st

Sign: Howard, Parsons

2016/ 17 Lineup:
Payton/ Watson/ Napier
Hezonja/ Oladipo
Parsons/ Korver/ Marble
Gordon/ Ilyasova/ Draft
Howard/ Splitter/ Draft

Athletic starting five with Hezonja at the 2 to open up the floor and a second unit with Oladipo as sixth man and playmaker. He will be surrounded by shooters and still play big minutes. Draft a Center and Power Forward to replace Ilyasova and Splitter when their contracts expire.

1.) 11 Jun 2016 21:26:05
Not realistic. Magic would get at least cousins for vucevic. Perhaps pg13 because Vogel says so .

Sorry. Bensimmons wasn't here. Figured I'd help out 🖕.

04 Jun 2016 22:03:03
Hawks - Thunder

Hawks gets: Kanter

Thunder gets: 21st, Korver, Splitter, Tavares.

1.) 05 Jun 2016 00:39:18
I like this trade i was actually thinking of ibaka for korver and splitter earlier.

23 Mar 2016 20:59:24
Any ideas about how much Dion Waiters will get payed in free agency?

As a Thunder fan I want to keep him for the right price.

Any sign and trade ideas for Waiters otherwise?

1.) 23 Mar 2016 21:49:31
Allegedly, he is looking for something in region of 48 mil/ 4 yrs, and it is difficult decision to make.
For that much money I wouldn't keep him, OKC limit them completely that way ahead of next summer, when they can mix something out (dealing Kanter if possible would open enough money for one right high class player) . Rather sign Henderson on taxpayer exception (6 mil appx)
Regarding sign and trade, not sure somebody would do it, rather sign him outright.

I would like Harris on a the Thunder but think Kanter need to be involved for salaries to match. Also believe Sabonis is untouchable unless an unlikely trade for a star/ superstar would happend.

What's wrong with making different kind of trades including the same players from one of the teams?

You have to compare offers in trades to see which value players have and what you can get for them.
