Oklahoma City and Phoenix Trade Deal

Thunder sends C Steven Adams
$8.1 Million Trade Exception
2 Future 1st Round Picks (Negotiable)

to Phoenix Suns for

T.J. Warren and Deandre Ayton

both have 4 years contracts!

OKCFAN

1.) 12 Dec 2018 18:07:39
Adams and the 2 1sts non-lottery protected, I would do. Ayton is not a defender. He's a lesser version of Kanter from what I've seen from him. Shoots a little better. I would be shocked if the Thunder considered this.

2.) 12 Dec 2018 18:52:41
Never going to happen.

3.) 12 Dec 2018 19:13:46
I know the Sun's GM is rather new to the position, but that doesn't mean you should try to abuse him either.

4.) 12 Dec 2018 20:02:04
Adams is one of the worst contracts in the NBA to me. Obviously this isn't a serious post (at least, I hope it isn't) .

5.) 12 Dec 2018 23:21:25
Isn't the GM, Ryan McDonough? Or was he fired? Because, if it is still him, he's been around a while and he was working for Danny Ainge before that. He's not likely to cave or let anyone abuse him.

6.) 12 Dec 2018 23:24:30
My bad, apparently McDonough was fired. Don't know how i missed that. You can disregard my previous post lol.

7.) 12 Dec 2018 23:25:39
Yall r hating on Adams have yall seen him play this year? He has improved since last year he is scoring more while still doing all the dirty work, and fits OKC's system so well how do u consider him as one of the worst contracts in NBA? Mozgov, byombo, Thompson, mahinimi, dieng all of them are making 15 mil or more those are some of the actual bad contracts for just the center position. Adans deserves the contract he has I don't care what u say.

8.) 13 Dec 2018 00:55:39
It's the owner JoeB. James Johnson is the GM and he's cool so far. Robert Sarver is and has been a problem for awhile.

9.) 13 Dec 2018 01:25:47
Okc is balling. They need a shooter. No way prestige gets rid of Adams. He is the anchor of their defense.

10.) 13 Dec 2018 02:18:29
Okc needs shooting.

Okc sends Schroder and first rounder

Suns send ariza.

11.) 13 Dec 2018 02:18:42
James Jones.

12.) 13 Dec 2018 02:44:26
Sarver is not just a problem, he is THE problem with the Suns. Many, including me, wish he would just take his profits and sell the team to someone, (almost) anyone who knows how to run an NBA team.

"OKCFAN" - is this a parody?

2.) 12 Nov 2018 16:32:46
Incredibly bad trade idea.

With Kevin Love Out ...

Oklahoma City / Cleveland

Steve Adams, Patrick Patterson, and a 1st Round (Future) Pick to Cleveland for

Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance Jr.

OKCFAN

1.) 30 Oct 2018 11:00:44
As a Cavs fan, let’s do it! We’ll throw in Korver, a 2nd, Ty Lue’s high chair, 50 Lebron jerseys in clearance at the team shop, the bowl that Jr threw last year, and an issue of flat earther monthly that Kyrie left behind.

I just don’t see the Thunder moving a pick and Adams for that. Thompson and Adams are similiar style players, but Adams is better. Nance is a nice energy guy with great athleticism, but he can’t shoot and that’s OKC’s biggest need from a big, if they plan on playing Russ and Roberson together.

2.) 30 Oct 2018 11:41:53
I am just blown away the cavs are still saying they were hoping to overachieve? With that roster? That's B. S. Or the entire front office should be fired for incompetence. Adams could come to the Cavs but only if the cavs were saving money or acquiring assets. They are a ground floor rebuild now. Happens fast.

3.) 30 Oct 2018 14:11:35
I was one of the people on the side of thinking that Cleveland was a playoff team this year. I'm clearly off that now. Yeah, time to blow it up. Move all that you can for as many assets as you can get. Take on as many bad contracts as you can for picks. Get what you can out of Love (which should be a decent haul) . Start over completely.

4.) 30 Oct 2018 16:45:59
You might trade love this season, but when his contract goes up the cavs won't get much. Love is barely better than the Morris twins. As it sits, I would far rather the Morris twins salary, mobility and injury history. 31 million is way too much. He will be untradable 2 seasons from now.

5.) 30 Oct 2018 16:24:07
Don't laugh Laker fans. Lebron will leave your franchise in similar condition once he drains as much cash as he can outta L.A.

As for the Cavs, its time to hit the life rafts. That ship has sunk.

6.) 30 Oct 2018 17:43:18
LBJ looks so under-skilled compared to Davis and Durant and others this season. He looks and shoots like you think a linebacker would. His finesse is less obvious than it was before and it was never his strong suit.

7.) 02 Nov 2018 17:54:14
Y would okc even think about doing that trade?

04 Oct 2018 21:09:22
Thunder and Blazers Trade

Westbrook and Roberson for Lillard and Turner

Straight Up. Roberson and Turner has equal years in terms of Contract and you can extend Lillard to Paul George Level for another 2-3 years and Lillard is a year younger than Russell - I would throw in a pair of 2nd Round Picks to sweeten the deal if Blazers wants to depart Lillard. Lillard and George would be a better and more cohesive duo.

Most of you would not do this trade; and I understand that.

OKCFAN

1.) 04 Oct 2018 21:31:51
Rather keep Roberson and Westbrook.

2.) 04 Oct 2018 21:56:11
Triangle why?

3.) 04 Oct 2018 22:20:13
I think both teams would rather keep their current star PG over swapping.

4.) 05 Oct 2018 00:56:09
Westbrick for lillard is fair in terms of championships and likely future championships without major 1st tier talent surrounding them. Who puts more person-like clueless fans in seats? Westbrick by far. His worth to a franchise is unique in that respect.

5.) 05 Oct 2018 13:03:42
I’d counter with this Btec: Westbrook is hated in Portland. Hated. Lillard would be a much better fan draw for the Blazers than Westbrook.

6.) 05 Oct 2018 13:36:34
Shiller, it’s more about Roberson vs. Turner than Westbrook vs. Lillard.

7.) 05 Oct 2018 14:45:07
I still like Turner. is he overpaid? Absolutely. But if you use him correctly, he's a solid asset. The problem is, he's not a good fit for either team. He should essentially be the backup point guard, facilitating for the rest of the squad. The Thunder already have Schroder in that role.

8.) 05 Oct 2018 16:14:48
Well, that's not a very high moral code for the formerly known as trailblazers fan base. I thought it was about team and not 1 individual?

9.) 05 Oct 2018 19:20:40
It certainly is more than one individual, but at the same time, you can't ignore your fans and go against everything they would want. You can't dump a hero around the city for a bitter rival.

Also, the Jailblazer era really hurt the team in the eyes of the fans. Among all of the teams in the NBA, Portland has to be among the most cautious of losing their fan base again.

10.) 05 Oct 2018 19:59:49
There is not one good reason to blackball westbrick from Portland. He has no criminal charges, and he gets triple doubles. Would satisfy most blazer fans I know. I can't ever see westbrick for lillard but I think the fans would welcome westbrick if he was around for a while. Portland businesses feed the homeless at a ridiculous rate, I'd imagine they'd embrace westbrick after a season or 2.

OKC / IND / ATL

Thunder gets Young (PF) and Sabonis from the Pacers

+1 win on the Trade Machine

Hawks gets Adams from the Thunder

+4 wins on the Trade Machine

Pacers gets Plumlee and Dedmon from the Hawks. Pacers gets a future 1st Round Pick from Atlanta and a 2nd Round Pick from Oklahoma City.

-4 wins on the Trade Machine.

I think the pacers should get a little more for taking plumlee.

I just can't see the Thunder making any moves before the Trade Deadline to replace the injured Andre Roberson for sure ... our assets are very limited and good at all.
