Boston/New Orleans/Orlando

Boston: AD

New Orleans: Brown, Simmons, Vucevic, Orlando #1 2019, Sac #1 2019

Orlando: Boston #1 2018, Memphis #1 2019, Rozier, Horford

Boston gets the star C they desperately need finally cashing in on some picks, while keeping most of their talented roster.

New Orleans gets 3 good players to build around and 2 pretty high picks next year.

Orlando gets their PG of the future, a good small ball C, and some extra picks.

Not enough to the Pels.

2.) 10 Jun 2018 23:53:33
Triangle: Pels get 3 young players, all with good upside and 2 high draft picks next year. How is that not enough?

3.) 10 Jun 2018 23:54:32
Boston is not going to give up three starters, a lottery pick and another No. 1 for any single player, including Davis.

4.) 11 Jun 2018 15:44:19
It's really funny howe obssessed Cletics fans are with AD trade proposals. Its laughable to be honest.

Boston/Memphis

Memphis trades Parsons and #4

Boston trades Rozier, their #1 this year, and returns Memphis #1 next year

Memphis gets a pick this year and next, Rozier, and gets out of Parson's contract

Boston trades up to get Mo Bamba.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy

Boston doesn't have the space to take on Parsons.

LAL/ORL Trade this off-season

LA needs to clear cap to make a run at 2 FA all stars, maybe LBJ and PG13

LA trades: Zubac, Deng, 2018 1st (CLE), & earliest future unprotected 1st (2020/2021)

ORL trades: Mario Hezonja

LA saves cap space, gets out of awful Deng contract, and let's Hezonja walk in FA

ORL stretches Deng, gets maybe a promising young player in Zubac, resigns Gordon, and gets a couple 1sts to sweeten the pot. ORL drafts Young with their own pick.

LA can then resign Randle and sign 2 FAs

LA
Ball
George
James
Randle
Bryant

ORL
Young
Fournier
Isaac
Gordon
Vucevic

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

OldskoolMagic

1.) 17 Mar 2018 01:01:53
Lakers can stretch Deng. They can keep randle plus sign George and James at 29 each.

2.) 17 Mar 2018 20:54:40
Can’t trade MARIO he’s a free agent.

3.) 17 Mar 2018 22:36:30
The Magic only have around 18 million in cap space and that's without Mario's contract since he's a free agent. Also, that's without Gordon or anyone else's cap hold. I can't see them relinquishing the rights to Gordon. They being in close to 20 million. Even if they could fit that money in, I think it would be easier for the Lakers to work out a sign and trade with the Cavs or Thunder.

4.) 18 Mar 2018 04:14:51
Moat contracts expire early July, so technically Hezonja can be traded just before, during, and after the draft. I'm not reprised of Hezonja's exact expiration date. I could be wrong.

nyk/cha/orl

nyk gets: batum/ross/hezonja 2nd cha

cha gets: fournier/ ntilikina/ biyombo/ 1st orl 2019

orl gets: walker/ noah/ 1st nyk 2018/ 1st nyk 2020

nyk gets rid of noah and picks uo some assets

cha gets good return for walker

orl gets a replacement for payton and a couple 1sts to take on noah's contract

OldskoolMagic

1.) 19 Jan 2018 19:49:36
this is really bad for the knicks, they essentially give up 3 firsts (ntilikina) to swap noah’s contract for an arguably worse one in batum.

2.) 19 Jan 2018 20:45:57
Batum's contract is nowhere as bad as Noah's, but I do agree that the Knicks should not make this deal.

3.) 20 Jan 2018 00:22:12
Batum is having a down year, but has been really good the past 2 years. He passes, shoots, defends, and rebounds well. It looks like the only reason Noah is still in the league is that his deal is to big to stretch or buyout. The only deals any where near as bad as Noah's are Parsons's, Deng's, and Mozgov's.

4.) 20 Jan 2018 01:26:18
Mozgov, and Deng are the owed the least of those guys. Deng can play. Switch teams and Deng plays, and Mozgov still sits. I'd take Mozgov or Deng, but preferably Deng over those 5 guys. Money, and ability to play.

Trade is official

Philly gets Trevor Booker

Brooklyn gets Okafor, Staukas, and a 2019 2nd Rd pick

Philly overpays to get rid of Okafor but gets a decent player in Booker

Brooklyn gets a decent SG, a 2nd Rd pick, and to try to make Okafor into a decent player.

Only time will tell who wins this one

OldskoolMagic

1.) 08 Dec 2017 05:53:22
i got to say, bad move for philly. what is the incentive here? i see booker as an expiring for their cap room, and they give up staus and a pick?
they shouldve just let jah walk at seasons end.

2.) 08 Dec 2017 10:27:54
agree with donadamsky.
no idea why Philly would do this.
Booker is a good player, but he's just an expiring contract.

3.) 08 Dec 2017 13:19:41
He's a good player, but he's also another one of those stable veteran guys who is great in the locker room. He'll add a good presence in Philly, while the Nets will likely miss that. I think the Nets come out ahead though. Booker's not there long term anyway, and they get two former lotto picks on redemption deals. It could wind up being much ado about nothing, but it could also become a win win.

4.) 08 Dec 2017 15:51:01
Philly is clearing space now for next year with hopes that LBJ goes to them instead of LAL, if he leaves at all. Booker will help this year and then be a UFA next year.

LBJ's best shot to win another title would be with Philly not the Lakers.

5.) 08 Dec 2017 17:28:56
I’d like too see the bulls sign Jah in fa.

6.) 09 Dec 2017 00:32:38
Sixers lost this trade. Okafor is already unrestricted. You can also don't give qualifying offer to stauskas. So they are basically out of book after this season. Why do they need to attach that 2nd rd pick?

7.) 09 Dec 2017 22:13:31
My thoughts are Stauskas, being included was what necessitates pick. He hasn't been coveted even on a lousy rebuilding Kings squad. They even paid to ditch him. Booker will be serviceable, and Philly has eyes on Playoffs, and resting Embid every other night makes Booker deal not too bad in my eyes. He will play a lot sooner than Bret Brown is letting on.

Holy f***ing crap Batman

GSW

C- Boogie Cousins
PF- Draymond Green
SF- KD
SG- Thompson
PG- Curry

Doesn't really matter who is on the bench if these 5 average 35+ minutes a night.

1.) 03 Jul 2018 11:39:03
What goes up must come down.

2.) 03 Jul 2018 21:42:16
Any team can be beaten what if cousins doesn't mesh well with the others and it would be the second half of next season when he comes back right whenyou're supposed to start clicking.

LBJ has signed a 4yr $154M deal with the Lakers... Now all the Cavs fans can shut up about him re-signing and can burn his jerseys again.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 02 Jul 2018 06:54:21
No burning of jerseys and I'm pretty sure most fans were saying he could come back or he could leave and I still believe that if things had went differently this season, he'd still be in Cleveland, but I can't blame him for leaving that roster behind. Rebuild time. (My Cavs rebuild trades will be just as obnoxious for you, I'm sure) .

Where's irving's Dan gilbert letter praising him like he invented life on earth?

dude no one cares about trades you made in a video game that is 2 years old now.

2.) 15 Oct 2016 20:49:40
yeah, not even exaggerating. this is the most worthless post I have ever seen on here. Echoing Larrylegend, legit, no one cares and this has no reason to be on here. It's as valuable as me explaining what I had for lunch yesterday, stating I have an upcoming dentist appointment, or naming my favorite colors. If you are bored. go do some hop scotch. At least you don't waste our time as well.

Dinwiddie isn't worth a 1st Rd pick, even a late one.

JVoug: I said lottery protected 1st. Orlando would only get the 1st if it falls out of the lottery. That would be fair compensation for Ross. He is a way better player than Bayless.

Orlando may say yes but it would have to be bare minimum Lottery protected 1st, not top 24.

Orlando says no. Simmons is worth more than Abrines and a 2nd. Plus, Simmons surprisingly likes playing in Orlando and they value him very highly.

Being traded is part of the risk NBA players take signing those huge contracts. They get paid way too much to play a game. It's just as ridiculous as Latrell Sprewell saying he couldn't afford to feed his kids on $10M a year. IMO suck it up or find another job.
