The Dark Side

"A. davis" is a typo right?

2.) 17 Feb 2017 16:13:25
It's not a typo. He obviously meant that NO plans on signing Baron Davis and then moving him to the Bucks. I mean, that's the only way this comes close to being logical. On a serious note, I really doubt the Pelicans wind up moving Davis, but the way that organization has been run, I can see him getting stuck in a Cousins style situation. just without the attitude issues.

3.) 17 Feb 2017 16:34:57
Number one This trade is so bad it speaks for itself

Number two Davis JUST SAID this week he has NO plans to leave NOLA, and Gentry and Demps said you do NOT trade a Superstar for a few pieces or picks.

4.) 19 Feb 2017 23:12:24
I hope it's a typo

Bucks/Suns
Bucks send PF/C J. Henson to Suns.
Suns send "back" PG/SG B. Knight to Buck's. Phoenix gets their rim protector they need. Bucks get "Back" their Combo PG/SG they need. Salaries match, Straight trade.
Bucks/Bulls
Bucks send little used SG R. Vaughn to Chicago, (Wades getting older)
Bulls send little used PF/C B. Portis to Milwaukee. (Replaces Henson.) Again, Salaries match Straight trade.
Bucks cut recent acquired C R. Hibbert,(Who will be gone at the end of the season anyways.) Opens roster spot, to sigh D-League SG R.J. Hunter. Better shooter and defender than R. Vaughn!

The Dark Side

1.) 08 Feb 2017 18:38:55
Bulls would want more. Not much, but something. Maybe a future 2nd, would be enough

2.) 08 Feb 2017 19:21:48
The Suns would be better with moose. Not a great defender but at least he can go to the 4. They have Len and Chandler already. Not to mention that if Moose opts out they open up more cap to rebuild.

3.) 08 Feb 2017 19:41:39
Re; Bulls would want more, maybe a future 2nd rd. pick. Portis isn't worth it. Straight up trade yes, but not Vaughn and a pick. Both are bench warmers. As far as Moose going. No, Bucks aren't going to give him up for Knight. Monroe is playing better now, than before. Knight is currently a 2nd or 3rd stringer, as a PG, or SG. It would cost the Suns more than just Knight for Monroe.

4.) 08 Feb 2017 19:51:07
Bucks/ Bulls
Bucks send SG Vaughn and C Hibbert to Bulls.
Bulls send PF/ C Portis and SG/ SF Zipser to Bucks. No Picks either way.

Hello rkeene_16, Agreed about Dellevedova, But why would Milwaukee want to dump 9 mil a year, to bring back 12.5 mil a year for a 2nd backup, 3rd backup, PF to play Center? They have that in D. J. Wilson for the next year. I also agree about the Cavs taking Favors, TT just isn't getting it done, But, The Cavs are also looking for another guard right (G. Hill? ) Dellavedova would help with that a little more than Favors would be the "Rim Protector" the Cavs. are looking for. I see Dellavedova, Henson, Maker, Vaughn, and possibly Parker as "trade bait" What I don't understand with Milwaukee is, Why is their tallest player, (7'1" PF Maker) taking 3's all the time? The best thing the Bucks could do is start with firing J. Kidd! Move Asst, HC Prunty in as a temp. Then go out and get the Spurs asst. Coach Becky Hammon! She has been working with "Pops" for a while, And has been up for GM jobs. I think she would be a better coaching addition to the Bucks, than their current Staff.

succeed and proceed? The Bucks have been winning "Without" Parker. Plus as you state, and we all know, Parker is looking for a "Max" contract. Why pay a guy the max, when he can't stay healthy for an entire year? Its looking more like Parker, Henson, and a 1st. or 2nd rd pick for the Clippers Jordan The Bucks will be signing A. Bogut (An actual Center) after the trade deadline. Plus they currently signed Plumlee. Dellavedova is a nice backup. But, Look at his last few games. 0-5 points max. A lot of assist though. A hardnose player. As for Favors, he's getting older and slower, Plus at 12.5 mil. a year not worth it.

The Bucks say No! Giving up Dellavedova, and his 9 mil. a year for Favors and his 12.5 mil. a year. for a rental? The Bucks want like everyone else. To dump contracts, not add. Favors is a PF that plays backup center. Milwaukee already has Henson, and Maker, who also are PF's playing Center. Look for Milwaukee either to trade for a legit Center, Or, after the trade deadline, Re-sign A. Bogut.

@ jorgawood, Agreed, Plus the Wolves would still have a PG. Dellevedova plays PG better than SG. And the Bucks still have others that can backup Bledsoe. (Terry, Munford, and Kilpatrick) And they can use a backup SF. (Dekker? ) If that trade would go thru. And Parker would be coming back, That would put Middleton back at SG, with Parker moving to SF. So, Jordan, Giannis A., Parker, Middleton, and Bledsoe, would be the starting 5. Not bad, But as we know, Wishful thinking! And yes, Dellavedova is a defensive and assist minded PG. The Bucks currently have 10 guards, So, losing Brogdan and dellavedova, shouldn't hurt to bad!

@ jorgawood, Agreed! Take out F Juan Hernangomez, and put in F Sam Dekker. Then take out SG T, Snell, and put in PG M. Dellavedova. Then The Wolves would have a PG, and the Bucks would have a backup SF.
