Green and Thompson for Davis and asik would be even trade.

True GM

1.) 06 Nov 2016 01:46:18
Warriors already have too much chemistry issues, would never trade either of them.

2.) 06 Nov 2016 05:46:45
Why would NO do that deal? Davis is their franchise guy.

30 Aug 2016 05:33:48
Irving and Thompson for gay and cousins.

Trade love for clarkson and deng.

Shumpert/ williams
Smith/ clarkson
Deng/ gay
James/ Jefferson
Cousins/ fry.

True GM

1.) 30 Aug 2016 06:05:02
lol that's terrible for cavs.

2.) 30 Aug 2016 10:56:23
No way, the Cavs break up a champion team

Clarckson should play PG
I like this idea, but sacramento should give more.

3.) 30 Aug 2016 14:12:55
The love trade is one of, if not the worst love trade posted on here.

The irving trade makes zero sense. So they give up a top flight pg and the best offensive rebounder in the league. and they get one guy who plays no defense and just makes EVERY team worse, and a big baby just waiting to have a temper tantrum?

got it.

4.) 30 Aug 2016 14:54:38
Love the first trade. Don't trade love though. Once Lebton retires that team will still be good with love and cousins.

04 Aug 2016 01:05:18
Cavs get butler, randle, mozgov, clarkson, nance, dm and deng plus picks from Bulls

Lakers get gibson, shumpert dunleavy, fry and love

Bulls get james sign and trade max.

who loses if james don't want to commit to resign in Cleveland.

True GM

1.) 04 Aug 2016 02:12:17
Lakers get screwed. If we are giving up Clarkskn, Randle and Nance we should get Butler.

2.) 04 Aug 2016 02:19:46
James has already committed.

3.) 04 Aug 2016 04:19:22
by "picks from Bulls" do you mean 2017-2037 1st round picks?

28 Jul 2016 07:40:05
Can i see some dream scenarios. Well may i?

Mine is Lakers win lottery next year.

Trade that pick, young, Williams and Randle for cousins. Kings would waive the vets or keep Williams. That's a lot for a rental but it's worn it. Cousins would love Westbrook.

Sign Westbrook

Westbrook- triple double machine
Russell- can shoot and clutch
Ingram- dk yet just potential everywhere
Nance- love his hustle/ hope develop more
Cousin-pure beast
With mozgov, clarkson and deng there main bench players. Along with other young players and can sign a decent bench player with mle. After two years they can be contenders. Think Ingram and russell would decide that.

True GM

1.) 28 Jul 2016 07:47:13
They literally cannot win the lottery, if they do, Philly wins the lottery.

2.) 28 Jul 2016 08:16:40
@HDC9 you are wrong. The lakers pick is top 3 protected next year as well.

3.) 28 Jul 2016 11:18:44
i wouldn't give a 1 rnd pick for Cousins
But they should consider this if Westbrook wants to come.
however, i would try first Clarckson+ Russell for Cousins.

4.) 28 Jul 2016 13:28:28
First lakers pick is top three protected so they can win the lottery.

Second that's a nice scenerio but why stop. The lakers sign Blake Griffin as well and and curry decides to leave the Warriors

curry
Westbrook
Ingram
Griffin
Cousins.

5.) 28 Jul 2016 14:09:15
That pick will be worth way more. just take Giles and run
Westbrook
Russell
Ingram
Giles
Mozgov.

6.) 28 Jul 2016 14:24:12
Tre, itll also likely involve a trade of ingram for Durant and Green. I mean, ingram is all kinds of potential, warriors couldn't pass that up!

7.) 28 Jul 2016 16:54:07
I was tryna keep clarkson, russell, ingram and nance together because they would all have experience playing together and know a lil about the nba. Add in Westbrook and cousins that be scary.

8.) 28 Jul 2016 16:57:06
Hamburger

yeah. In a perfect world for the lakers. Every one of there players is a young lebron, value wise, in a trade. Lol but hey who am I to squash a dream.

9.) 28 Jul 2016 17:14:14
Coming from the guy who values okafor like he's the best center in the NBA.

10.) 28 Jul 2016 18:52:35
The king.

I don't value him that high yet. Blake Griffin for Oakfor straight up. Nope. That's not enough. I've always been fair in my opinion on trades.

Cousins for Okafor. Nope not enough.

In fact I've been pretty clear on any of those trsde it would take Okafor. Sixers first lakers first and maybe more to get a jimmy butler or Paul goerge.

Draft picks are not proven stars. young players are not proven stars. They are prospects.

11.) 28 Jul 2016 19:19:22
Bkn pick and jaylon brown is pretty high value for Okafor don't you think?

12.) 28 Jul 2016 20:24:44
Listen, tre and I don't see eye to eye on most. But that is hardly valuation of the best center in the league. Brown was a bad pick, a big reach. Brooklyns pick isn't guarenteed to be in the top 3, let alone in the top 6 or 7. PErsonally, I wouldn't take that trade if I was the celtics. But what if the nets pick ended up say 10. Is it fair?

You know what you have in okafor, a down low, scoring big man. Something the celtics need. isn't that awful.

His comment was more so aimed towards the title contention based on what? Clarkson, randle, ingram. players that have shown a glimmer of potential, at best. Ingram hasn't played a second and the post is talking about title contention with him as the starting 3. Nance? Nothing

Come on. its just nonsense.

13.) 28 Jul 2016 21:25:04
Hamburger I think I agree with most of what your saying. I like Ingram but never know until they play. Either way this scenerio was a dream scenerio so I'm ok with letting la dream. Just hope they don't expect it to really happen

The king.
I think jaylen brown is a nothing player to be honest. He's young and has upside but should of went seventh or eight in this draft. Boston picked him early. Meanwhile I have been pretty clear in my opinion that I like Okafor a great deal. I think he should gone top two in his draft and is a steal at three in most drafts.

That being said I think if Boston wants him, a role player in brown ( just in my opinion) and a top three pick next year (most likely) is enough to get me to give boston ( a division rival) Okafor. And I'd still feel like this could come back to haunt me later.

14.) 28 Jul 2016 21:55:53
Can't call brown a reach when he hasn't played.
I'm higher on him than most non Celtic fans. I think he will be an all star some day. Nets in reality, are pretty much a lock for top 5 in my eyes. You were the one saying okafor was a dash of Jesus and Kareem as how tre gib values him.

BTW, true is the only laker fan (at least on this site) to post this nonsensical stuff so don't get confused which fan post it.

15.) 29 Jul 2016 04:37:19
This not even a big dream. There winning the lottery but at same time ranked 29 or 28 so great chance to win lottery.
Giving kings a great deal for cousins.
Signing Westbrook who is from la and it's not like they don't have young players with potential and cousins plus great coach. Plus max money.

then if Ingram and Russell can reach there potential that's there own super team to contend.

25 Jul 2016 17:00:30
Lakers trade Deng, Russell, and randle
get love

Kings trade cousins
Get Russell, Randle, and Thompson plus two future first round draft picks one each team.

Cavs trade love and Thompson
Get Deng and cousins.

True GM

1.) 25 Jul 2016 17:29:42
The Lakers don't get enough.

2.) 25 Jul 2016 17:30:38
It's a fair trade and i like this one for cleveland and Sacramento

But why do Lakers fans always want to trade Russell? The Lakers should rebuilt with young talents.

I like this trade for LA, when they know that adding K Love, would be enough for Westbrook to sign with them
C: Mozgov
PF: K Love
Sf: Nance/ Deng
SG: Ingram
PG:Westbrook
sixth: Clarckson.

3.) 25 Jul 2016 18:58:04
Westbrook
Clarkson
Ingram
Love
Mozgov.

4.) 25 Jul 2016 20:56:54
The problem is there is no assurance Westbrook will come to Lakers and you give up 2 young talents for a guy that carry us to the playoffs. I say wait and see what the young core does this year.

5.) 26 Jul 2016 02:18:10
No way Love is worth what their giving up.

Mozgov, Ingram, randle and clarkson plus take protection off pick to sixers

Simmons, noel, and Landry to Lakers.

True GM

27 Jul 2016 06:15:19
I think pelicans should try hardest to get cousins. Maybe the kings or other teams are waiting to see young talent play before making trades.

True GM

1.) 27 Jul 2016 13:45:01
What should they offer?
they't have any trade bait.

2.) 27 Jul 2016 20:29:40
Hield, Holiday, 2 1st.

27 Jul 2016 05:58:05
I think the wolves should trade Rubio for an below average deal long they take pec so wolves can have cap. Think someone wants to play with them with wiggins, towns, dunn Wanna see lavine play a full season but dunn got game for a rookie to get better quick. Maybe not a superstar but at least give twenty 5 to someone.

True GM

1.) 27 Jul 2016 14:57:37
1: wolves are under the minimum, so cap space is not an issue.
2: no team should take a " below average deal, that's just a way for fans to justify ripping a trade partner off, or an indication of bad ownership/ front office.
3: who are you talking about giving 25 million to? With a group of kids that are all going to need extensions in the next 2-4 years, paying someone just to pay someone is pointless, and probably takes time away from developing youngsters.

2.) 27 Jul 2016 17:39:00
All team takes below average trades to dump salary. Instead paying rubio and pec. They could pay someone who fit long term.

That's how you really build a team you draft good prospects then sign players to fit. Rubio don't fit so it's a waste. If you don't like my opinion then you can zip it and do something else.

3.) 27 Jul 2016 17:40:49
It's always better to have a star and lead the youth and teach them the game.

4.) 27 Jul 2016 18:24:08
What star do you suggest they pay at the moment? I don't see too many (read as Zero) on the market.

And Rubio fits perfectly with this team so I don't know what you're talking about. (And you have never seen Dunn play against NBA level competition so you have no idea how he'll do in the NBA)

And like Darkwing said, Wolves are under the cap minimum, they really don't need to worry about dumping Pek (especially when they can just stretch him or force a medical retirement next year)

5.) 27 Jul 2016 18:58:46
A lot of anger there truegm. U OK? Need to talk about somethin'? We all have rough patches ya know, and I want you to know I'm here for ya. Your going to be OK. Just stop huffing dry erase markers in your locker between classes and everything will get better sooner than you think.

6.) 27 Jul 2016 19:30:52
Truegm, are you kidding me?

Rubio has trade value. Just a fact.

Pek is on the hook for this year and next. AT 11 or 12 million. Did you just see the nonsense people are paying for backup center quality? Your lakers just paid mozgov 16 mill a year for 4 years. MOZGOV.

The wolves are doing great. They don't need to throw money on stars. What you don't seem to get, is they are growing a star. Towns, Wiggins and others have star potential. They are doing just great. This is how you build champions. Not by just throwing money at any Mozgov that is desperate for a pay check.

7.) 27 Jul 2016 22:52:49
Looks like the heat has gotten to True. Maybe he should cool down a bit with the A/ C.

8.) 28 Jul 2016 07:03:11
You guys are buddy buddy nothing you can say can change anything. Wolves drafted dunn and have lavine. No need for rubio on there team. Why you think rubio in so many trade rumors. Trade rumors are mostly sports insiders opinions on things. So why rubio name brought up in so many trade ideas. Because no one on the wolves can really shoot so he doesn't fit. Rubio can compare to rondo only effective with shooters. Rubio does not fit so dunn was drafted. Dunn, lavine, wiggins and towns is the future. They sign the big player and can help get other pieces plus they could build as a team. I respect yall opinions but mine is more reality.

9.) 28 Jul 2016 07:13:36
Example on how a star better to teach youth.

What did Jordan and james do without help early in there career not win. Imagine them in there early carrer with another good player. Like early in kobe carrer he had shaq and was sucessful. He tortured the spurs in 2001 wcf averaged like 33,7,7.

Look at kyrie did nothing till james came around. Burned golden state in finals.

I bet if thunder signed an established star two guard or a center, they would won the finals one year with Durant, Westbrook, and harden.

10.) 28 Jul 2016 07:15:10
Point to my last paragraph is you got to spend money to win championships.

11.) 28 Jul 2016 12:36:14
You just wrote they should sign someone. Not a star but someone willing to play with them. Then you compare it to shaq. So shaq isn't a star? Interesting.

And which shaq like player do you suggest they sign? Because I dare say I'd take that shaq that the lakers got over any player in the nba currently. He was that good and that young.

Great point again.

12.) 29 Jul 2016 16:38:19
I never said to sign a shaq like player. I said to basically dump Rubio and pec then sign a player for like 25 but not a superstar. Never compared anything to shaq. I compared to how kobe got better as a young man playing with a great player in shaq. I think if young players play with great players early carreer they Develope better. You are super strange the way you just misread everyone post because you be looking to say something dumb instead something on topic. But you TRY to bash everyone but at same time you make no sense and twist people words to your own because you hate because you have nothing else to do.

26 Jul 2016 15:45:55
I see allot of griffin and Westbrook trades but most people say that's not enough for one them. Don't think Boston would give up any brook pick and Lakers are keeping Ingram. I believe either player would sign extension. Do what's fair value for one those expiring contracts. If get traded at deadline that's a half year rental then.

True GM

1.) 26 Jul 2016 16:17:25
Both Griffin and Westbrook are worth a Brooklyn pick. but not more then the Brooklyn picks
Those two players make Boston a contender
The only thing those two players should do is giving their team a list of teams where they want to resign.

So if Boston could trade Griffin for the 17 pick and Westbrook for the 18 pick they should do this in a second. :-)

Those two players are both MVP canidates, so you have to give something valuable.

2.) 26 Jul 2016 16:58:42
I agree. I think Boston only would trade Brooklyn picks if they get both stars. Plus still wouldn't give up much with the Brooklyn picks because that's enough value for expiring contract.

3.) 26 Jul 2016 17:57:20
In my post I meant to say either player wouldn't*.

25 Jul 2016 05:58:28
I think if Jr stay cavs should just keep same team.

True GM

1.) 26 Jul 2016 02:29:42
I think with Warriors big addition Cavs need to make some major change to try and keep up. I think a K Love trade is the key to doing that as I think a lesser player can fill his role (i. e. Frye did for a little) and he has fair amount of trade value. I like moving him to a team like Denver in return for Galo and Chandler or something of the sorts.

I think miami should see what they can do in free agency next year. Maybe trade dragic to clear cap space. Wondering what's going to happen with bosh contract towards there cap space.
