Celtics - Wolves - Suns

C get: Towns, Jones, Aldrich (waive)

Rozier, Jones
Hayward, Smart
Tatum, Morris
Horford, Yabusele
Towns, Theiss

W get: Irving, Brown, Chandler

Irving, Rose
Butler, MGH
Gibson, Bjelica

S get: Teague

Teague, Ulis
Jackson, Warren
Chriss, Bender

1.) 19 May 2018 01:55:57
Completely forgot to add Wiggins, play him or Jimmy at the 4 and play small.

2.) 19 May 2018 04:42:11
Subs need a PG but, it's not Teague, not Schroeder, and not Walker. No deal from the Suns on this one.

3.) 19 May 2018 05:09:49
Whups. Suns, that is.

18 May 2018 08:39:56
Wolves - Celtics - Hornets

W get: Irving, MKG
Draft Khyrie Thomas

Irving, Jones
Butler, Thomas
Gibson, Bjelica
Towns, Dieng

C get: Walker, Monk, Lamb, Patton, TW 2018 and 2020 2nd

Walker, Rozier
Brown, Monk
Hayward, Lamb
Tatum, Morris
Horford, Patton

H get: Wiggins, Teague, TW 2019 or 2020 1st

Teague, MCW
Batum, Bacon
Kaminsky, Williams
Howard, Hernangomez, Zeller

1.) 18 May 2018 08:55:34
Walker is better than Irving or more affordable?

2.) 18 May 2018 09:17:09
Obviously not better but they just get more assets. A Walker/ Rozier pg rotation with the added depth of Monk, Lamb and Patton are worth it to me if I'm Boston.

3.) 18 May 2018 09:33:43
Minnesota would no doubt jump on that deal, getting Irving for Wiggins. But the players Boston gets are all bad fits (except for maybe Lamb, who would be a bottom-of-the-rotation filler), and Charlotte takes a significant step back.

4.) 18 May 2018 12:58:19
I actually think all the guys the Celtics bring in would wind up fitting well in Stevens' system, but I'm not ready to give up on the core that DA put together this offseason.

The only issue that I see for the trade in regard to fairness is that Charlotte really isn't getting much back. Wiggins is still a potential guy, but so is Monk, so the value they bring back for most of their good players just isn't there for me.

5.) 18 May 2018 14:55:00
To me, I don't think there's any way that Ainge trades Kyrie. I think the Celtics will give him his max contact, unless it's for a Superstar player. IE, Anthony Davis. Possibly K Leonard.

6.) 18 May 2018 15:42:45
I don't get any of the trade Irving stuff. Rozier has had a great postseason, but he's not any where near Irving's level. They're going to have give Rozier a pretty substantial raise to keep him anyway. If they're trading anyone to save money, it should be Heyward. Tatum and Brown look to on the verge of already being better than him.

18 May 2018 08:01:52
Wolves - Suns - Hornets

W get: Walker, Batum, Lamb
Draft Khyrie Thomas
Resign Rose, Bjelica

Walker, Jones, Rose
Butler, Thomas
Batum, Lamb
Gibson, Bjelica
Towns, Dieng

S get: Monk, Patton, Hernangomez Aldrich (waive), Hornets 2018 pick #11
Draft Doncic, Carter
Maybe try for Cousins or Noel

Doncic, Ulis
Booker, Monk
Chriss, Patton
Hernangomez, Carter, Chandler

H get: Wiggins, Teague, Bender, Warren, Suns 2018 picks #16 and #31
Draft Zhaire Smith

Teague, MCW
Wiggins, Smith
Warren, MKG
Bender, Kaminsky, Williams
Howard, Zeller

1.) 18 May 2018 13:48:11
And then Minnesota has to hand out 3 max or near max deals in one off season to Towns, Walker, and Butler.

2.) 18 May 2018 13:59:26
I really like the Batum/ Walker for Wiggins/ Teague

Great fit for both team

Min offense may become way more versatile and dynamic.

3.) 18 May 2018 14:19:06
Moot point for PHX. They'll be taking Ayton.

4.) 18 May 2018 19:50:22
@carl that's the price you pay to be a contender.

15 May 2018 22:47:51
A few trades I think make a lot of sense

Wolves - Raptors

Wiggins, Patton, Aldrich, OKC pick for Derozan, Siakam, Miles

Teague, Jones, Rose Lowry, Van Fleet
Derozan Wiggins, Wright
Butler, Miles Anunoby
Gibson, Siakam Ibaka, Patton
Towns Valenciunas, Poetl

Blazers - Spurs - Heat

Blazers get Kawhi, Aldridge, Whiteside

Spurs get Lillard, Aminu, Winslow, Johnson, Swanigan

Heat get Harkless, M Leonard, White, 2018 1st Portland

McCollum, Mills Lillard, Murray
Turner Green, Johnson
Kawhi Winslow, Anderson
Aldridge Aminu, Gay
Whiteside, Collins Gasol, Swanigan

Dragic, White
Wade, Waiters
Richardson, Harkless
Johnson, Olynyk
Adebayo, Leonard

1.) 15 May 2018 22:57:56
Welp I thought I could space the teams out next to eachother so it wasn't so long but that clearly didn't work but you get the point.

2.) 15 May 2018 23:09:13
Kind of a kick in the teeth for the blazers. Tall Leonard has a bad deal, but whiteside is more expensive. Which Johnson, Tyler or James to the spurs?

3.) 15 May 2018 23:17:24

09 May 2018 22:28:07
Wolves - Pistons

Wiggins, Dieng, Patton
Drummond, Bullock, Johnson

18 May 2018 23:46:01
So Towns is pissed and not happy with the Wolves. This physically pains me to say but what would a deal for him even look like?

1.) 19 May 2018 00:21:27
Towns and Wiggins for prince and #3.

2.) 19 May 2018 01:05:55
T Rozier and two first round draft picks.

3.) 19 May 2018 01:06:35
Anthony Davis would probably get you two starters (one of them under 25), plus a lottery pick and another No.1. Towns maybe a little less than that. AD is a top 5 player in the league, KAT top 12.

4.) 19 May 2018 02:22:37
Twolves get #1 pick, #16 pick. Bender, and Jared Dudley

Suns get Towns, Dieng, #20 pick.

08 May 2018 02:27:44
Wolves - Raptors - Magic

R get: Wiggins, Teague, Patton (OKC 1st if needed but I don't think it is)

Teague, VanFleet
Derozen, Wright
Wiggins, Anunoby
Ibaka, Patton
Valenciunas, Poetl

W get: Lowry, Miles, Siakam, Simmons

Lowry, Jones, Rose
Butler, (Draft Trent or Holiday)
Simmons, Miles
Gibson, Siakam, Bjelica
Towns, Dieng

M get: Powell, Aldrich (waive) 2019 Wolves 2nd

Way bigger move for MN and TOR but magic save money and get a 2nd

1.) 08 May 2018 04:25:32
Timberwolves pass.

2.) 08 May 2018 05:52:54
Why would they pass this fills out their team perfectly with 3/ D players and gives them depth and they even save a little money.

07 May 2018 00:29:14
Warriors - Bucks

W get: Middleton, Snell, Maker

Curry, Cook
Middleton, Snell
Durant, Iguodala
Green, West
Maker, McGee

B get: Thompson, Livingston

Bledsoe, Livingston
Brogdon, Delladova
Parker, Wilson
Giannis, Henson

1.) 07 May 2018 02:09:17
Giannis at center?, Warriors say no also.

21 Jun 2017 15:45:06
TWolves - Knicks - Celtics

TW trade: #7, Ricky Rubio, Goergi Dieng, 2019 unprotected 1st
TW get: Porzingis, Noah

K trade: Porzingis, Noah
K get: #7, Rubio, Bradley, TW 2019 pick, C 2017 2nd

C trade: Bradley, 2017 2nd
C get: Dieng

Sign Holiday brothers: Jrue 4yr/80m, Justin 3yr/20m
Let Muhammad, Rush, Payne go
Sign Sefelosha 2yr/5m, Gibson 2yr/20m

Pg: Holiday, Dunn, Jones
Sg: Lavine, Holiday, Vet Min
Sf: Wiggins, Sefelosha
Pf: Porzingis, Gibson, Bjelica
C: Towns, Noah, Aldrich

1.) 21 Jun 2017 21:17:03
No way the Celtics trade away Bradley and a second and only get Deing back. Maybe if we got a 1st round pick but Bradley alone would be to much for Dieng. The TWolves would be dumb to do this because they only need a PF but they shouldn't trade some of their valuable assets for Porzingus. This deal doesn't help anyone.

2.) 22 Jun 2017 02:38:02
Celtics would be wise to deal Bradley because he is an expiring contract due a large pay raise next year when Celtics will also need to pay IT and Smart. Dealing him for Dieng only makes sense if Celtics don't want to make a run at Hayward (I think they would be foolish not to) since he makes a fair bit more than Bradley and Celtics hardly have enough cap space to give Hayward the max as is. If they opted for Butler instead Dieng wouldn't be a bad option as a youngish, defensive big who is a better rebounder than anyone they have and signed long-term to a reasonable contract.

I completely disagree with CS13 on Twolves getting Porzingis. Porzingis is probably 2nd best prospect in the NBA to KAT. Having both on the same team would be unfair given their size, skill, and athleticism. Both need to improve defensively but they have the physical tools in place to be great on that end and I have faith in Thibs. Twolves are not giving up too much as Porzingis is already a pretty good player on a cheap contract and only 21 and Twolves would still have Dunn, LaVine, Wiggins and KAT. That would be a killer lineup and although Dunn may not be ready they have plenty of cap space to go sign Drose or somebody for 2 years to hold them over. Affording that team long term would be difficult (a la Thunder a few years ago) but they could easily trade anyone of those guys in a few years and get a solid return from a team with a bunch of assets looking for a higher caliber player. Twolves already have a bright future but adding Porzingis would make it even brighter.

I don't like Knicks dealing Porzingis and don't think this trade makes them any better. Rubio and Bradley are solid players but Bradley will in a year take all that money you saved by getting rid of Noah and #7 and #8 picks likely don't match their timeline. You end up trading a superstar and aren't highly likely to get one with #7 (certainly not caliber of Porzingis) . Don't think it makes Knicks considerably better in short term (maybe they make playoffs in they keep Melo) but severely hurts them in long-term since they won't have a cornerstone like Porzingis to build around and attract talent for them.

3.) 22 Jun 2017 02:38:04
not a chance Porzingis is worth 2 fairly high 1st rd picks and Rubio and Dieng and the absorption of Noah's huge contract.

23 May 2017 23:19:51

Absolutely confused how this supercollider guy has said on multiple replies saying how fultz and Covington aren't rotation players? Covington would start on almost every team and Fultz was the #1 pick last year that only got to play 10 games?
