1.) 27 Jun 2017 04:43:41
It would take a ridiculous offer for the Cavs to even talk Irving. Rubio is a bad fit for the Cavs. He is almost useless off the ball and the Cavs aren't going to take the ball out of Lebron's hands to give it to Rubio.

27 Jun 2017 02:42:11

MIN : C.McCollum + K.Lowry (s&t)

1.) 27 Jun 2017 05:05:13
CJ and Harkless for Derozan? Really?

24 Jun 2017 08:56:09

DET : N.Vucevic + D.Bender

PHX : A.Drummond

ORL : T.Chandler + PHX '18 1st round pick (top 12 protected)

1.) 24 Jun 2017 15:44:44
Not a chance. DET lands two young (ish) big men and only give up Drummond and the Magic get compleatly screwed over because they are losing their young (ish) big man and getting and old expensive one in return. Plus the pick that they got is a top 12 protected but If that pick was compliantly unprotected or top 3 protected the deal would be more fair.

2.) 24 Jun 2017 18:07:15
DET and PHX yes, ORL no.

24 Jun 2017 04:24:29

LAL : P.George

IND : J.Randle + Josh Hart + 2020 1st round pick + 2018 2nd round pick

LAL sign S.Ibaka 4yr (80mil)
sign L.Barbosa

long team

PG : L.Ball-J.Clarkson-T.Ennis
SG : P.George-L.Barbosa
SF : B.Ingram-L.Deng
PF : S.Ibaka-L.Nance Jr.
CE : B.Lopez-I.Zubac

1.) 24 Jun 2017 11:29:13
Only way something like that goes down is if George makes it 100% clear that he will refuse to sign an extension with any team except LA. Plus, those draft picks are nearly worthless because Lakers figure to be at least halfway decent in 2019-20.

2.) 24 Jun 2017 16:06:57
The only team that the Pacers will be able to get a good return from is the Lakers because they know that he will resign with them barring something unforeseen happening so I could see it costing them Randell Clarkson multiple 1sts and possibly some of their picks this year not named Ball.

3.) 24 Jun 2017 17:41:26
LAL 2018 2nd Rd pick is already traded to Orlando.

Wow, Wolves team become more exciting. Need to add shooters now.

1.) 23 Jun 2017 04:20:30
Yes they definitely could use shooting but I think it was a great trade for them especially with Issac being off the board at #7. Adding Butler makes them a sure playoff team and provides them with leadership of a veteran two-way player who along with Thibs can help Wiggins and KAT become the defensive forces they have the ability to be.

Twolves reportedly are still shopping Rubio which I believe is a smart idea since Rubio, Butler and Wiggins on the perimeter would kill spacing. They then plan to sign a point guard via FA. They are rumored to be interested in bringing Drose but I'm not a fan of that and probably still tension between he and Butler. I'd prefer them to go after George Hill or Jrue Holliday who are both solid two-way players who could fit Twolves defensive identity as well as stretch the floor some.

For the Bulls I think trading Butler was the right move and Celtics reportedly weren't willing to beat this offer so if they were going to move Butler its the right move. I still think moving him was the right move but with this underwhelming offer (its not bad but Dunn and LaVine's values are both fairly low right now) I may have waited to get a better feel of how FA would go since there is no real rush to deal Butler and ideally you build around him as a top 15 player in the league and one of top 5 two-way players.

Trades are going down

Lopez/27th for Russell + Mozgov

Howard + 31st for Plumlee + Bellineli + 41st

1.) 21 Jun 2017 06:54:12
Yep and probably more on the way leading up to the draft. The Lakers trade I thought was bad for them especially the timing of it. The only way I could justify it is if they add George in next few days too. I think Lakers should've at least tried to see if Russell and Ball could work for a little bit. Also, they don't really need to clear that cap space now (unless they have something major up their sleeves) and would be better suited to do this trade next offseason when Russell would have opportunity to increase his value (after a down sophomore year don't think he could hurt it) and another year would be off Mozgov's contract making it easier to move. They also, would be able to better gauge the FA market and see if they actually need all this cap space. Also, Lopez is in final year of his contract and probably would've been open to signing with Lakers since he is from LA.

For Nets makes sense since they've been shopping Lopez for awhile and they need to get a return for him in his final year. They are looking to the long-term so Mozgov doesn't really hurt them and Russell and ex #2 overall pick has the opportunity to be a potential all-star and would be their best player already.

The other trade I think Hornets won. It was a low risk move to get Howard since they really didn't give up much. For the Hawks this is them admitting defeat and finally blowing it up probably a few years too late. Howard obvi didn't want to be around for this so they essentially gave him away so he can finish his contract elsewhere.

will Rajon Rondo fit the Spurs if ever? Can Pop control him?

1.) 23 May 2017 01:52:14
If anyone can do it Pop can do it. However, at this point in his career I don't think Rondo is worth the headache. If I'm Spurs my first option would be to try and get Paul and if that doesn't happen I'd try and bring George Hill back.

15 May 2017 00:11:22
What do you guys think about game 1 between the SAS & GSW? I'm with the SAS with this one. Sadly Kawhi went down again.

1.) 15 May 2017 02:05:27
Warriors sweep.

2.) 15 May 2017 04:19:49
Rough loss for the Spurs. If Leonard doesn't go down that games completely different. Without Leonard and Parker they have no one that consistently create offense for themself or create open shots for other players. Aldridge is to inconsistent at this point. He had a decent game, but he was missing a ton of makable shots late in the game. Their poor offense was giving the Warriors a ton of easy shots in transition. That let Durant and Curry get in rhythm. Not to mention that without Leonard, Green and Simmons have to expend more energy on the defensive end as the primary defenders on Durant. If Leonard is out it's almost impossible for them to pull out a game. Aldridge would have to have be dominate in the post, their shooters would have to shoot lights out, they have to limit their turnovers, and dominate the boards. As for the Warriors, if Leonard plays, they need to slow down a bit. They seem to get in to much of a hurry and careless with the ball. They stop their own offense with turnovers at times. I think they also need to stay away from their small ball lineups. The Spurs size was creating so many 2nd chance points and the Spurs were scoring st will inside.

3.) 15 May 2017 20:39:37
We all no that was a dirty play from Zaza and the spurs will lose game 2 but will come fired up in front of the home crowd and even the series at 2 a piece.

If that package can get George, Thunder would just take him straight from IND. And would gladly involve Oladipo or Sabonis lol.

They should be brave enough to face anyone to test if they are for real.
