Hornets are in a pretty bad place since they aren't good and aren't young either. Issue is don't think Batum has that much value. Hornets may be better off trying to move draft pick to get someone like Vucevic or Aldridge who they could pair with Kemba and try to over perform. Yes even then Hornets won't ever be contenders in Kemba's career timeline so maybe you see what you could get for him. He is one of better point guards in the league and on one of best contracts making only 12 mill next two years.
