The Clippers would much rather let DJ and Lou Will walk for nothing and free up cap space than to take on thompsons horrible contract. Even if they do get frye's expiring and the brooklyn 1st. The brooklyn 1st is losing value the more that they win, and right now, its not too far away from their own pick.

i think mavs would want 2018 1st from pels,
hood is a nice scorer and 2018 draft has a few great options at pf/ c for mavs,
by the the way barnes is 5 years older than dennis smith, so another 1st would fit better into the rebuilding timeline. Don´t think mavs get more than a 1st in the 12-18 range for barnes.

dallas won´t give away barnes for a pick in the range 15-25. Better trade by the way would be matthews and mejri for asik, hill, diallo, 1st rounder 2018 and 2nd rounder 2019.

76ers should give clippers a 1st rounder with a high chance of ending in the top 10, then clippers would do it. Bucks take the deal in a second.
