LA Clips trade Gallo and a 2019 first rounder
Denver trades either Barton and Lyles or Lyles and Plumlee
Clips get some abilities to trade with Lyles or can use him on his restricted deal at 4.7. They can trade Barton or keep him. Then they go off and get Leonard.
Denver gets Gallo for one year to mentor MPJ to act like the SF that the young guy needs.

LAC doesn't have a 2019 1st, Boston owns it. Due to the Stipien Rule a team can't trade consecutive 1sts, so the earliest they could trade a 1st is 2021.

Clippers can trade their 2020 first immediately after Boston makes a draft selection using the Clippers 2019 first round pick per the Stepien Rule.
However, Lyles cannot be traded as he is entering his RFA per the CBA.

My first thing is decline Millsap and resign to 3/ 24 mill...reports are he would take that.
2 - see if there was anyway to trade for Davis from NO. If there is take that Millsap contract that is lower, with Harris, and four first round picks after July 1 when they are open to trade. You can sweeten with Hernangomez.
3 - if not Davis, then sign Millsap, find a way to get Gallo from Clippers to play the Three position.
4 - see if they can sign Darrell Arthur to a one year one mill deal. He's already off the books but can play the small five and backup four still can shoot and play defense. Gives some experience that helps for playoffs.
5- resign Murray to 15-18 mill deal with his rookie contract that allows it that is lower for those extensions and hitting up Beasley to that lower 6-8 mill deal.
6 - sign JaVale McGee for the backup five. Dump Plumlee in the last year of his deal. That gives you an imposing five to block some shots and make a few inside. Did it well for LA.

Since you are resigning Milsap, he will not be able to be traded until 1 Dec (or 15 Dec? ) .
Also, Murray is not going to extend for that low amount. If he has a good season, he will be a rookie max candidate. Especially with the limited FA market the year he becomes a RFA.

Sorry Denver doesn’t have to give up that much. Maybe Harris and a first for Beal? He’s got a huge contract and is untradable in ways.
