Mirotic, and 2018 2nd back, for Asik, Allen, Nelson, and 2018 1st 1-5 DP is a fair deal. Better than the one first reported a couple days ago. CHI gave in. Looks like NOP has a strong sense they are picking up Monroe if they were willing to trade the only C on their roster. Pels are back in the playoff hunt with this deal.

1.) 01 Feb 2018 21:57:49
I do think it's a decent deal for the Pels, as I do think this will get them into the playoffs. A pick between 15-18 while ditching Asik's salary is a win for both.

Much more sensible a deal than the Griffin one.

2.) 01 Feb 2018 22:38:22
Both of these moves were designed specifically so they can re=sign Cousins. That is THE priority for next season.

3.) 01 Feb 2018 23:20:38
Boogie could be, but no word on the severity of the Achilles "event". This move indicates their intention on wanting him back though. It also suggests Monroe is coming to NOP.

BOS: Evans

MEM: Smart

1.) 31 Jan 2018 21:40:46
Boston should not trade any rotation player unless for an all star.

2.) 01 Feb 2018 00:30:47
Nba, in what world does a rotation player get you an all star?

3.) 01 Feb 2018 04:31:00
Celtics would probably rather do Nader and their own 2019 first rounder.

4.) 01 Feb 2018 05:37:58
Obviously they'd include rotation players and picks, not just a straight up rotation player for all star.

5.) 01 Feb 2018 05:39:50
I'm sure the Celtics would! CLE in my opinion have the late 1st, and the fodder to land him. But they don't need him. Even though he is an improvement over Smith, and Rose. Says a lot about CLE future plans. MEM will just keep him probably if they don't get asking price. Same for CHI, and Mirotic.

LAC: Ed Davis, McCollum, 2nd

POR: Jordan, Lou, '18 1st

1.) 30 Jan 2018 19:12:02
Nurkic would probably have to be involved thinking about it. POR taking back Harrell, and Evans maybe. Or something LAC isn't planning on keeping. They're both nipping at the luxury tax line.

NOP : Noah, Willy, 2nd

NY: Asik, Ajinca,

1.) 27 Jan 2018 13:43:34
Why? The only useful asset in the whole group is Willy, the rest is just shifting garbage.

27 Jan 2018 05:32:31
NOP: Noah, Ntilikina, Willy, Beasley

NY: Ajinca, Hill, Asik

Maybe? Resurrect Noah? Won't be as hard to trade in a year when Cousins is ready.

1.) 27 Jan 2018 05:36:16
boogie ain't coming back.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 05:51:08
Donada, think NOP won't re-sign him? Get an injury exemption until he's ready.

3.) 27 Jan 2018 08:41:20
Pass from NY. They take 2 bad contracts and also lose Ntilikina. And also if you trading Noah to Pels along with Willy, Willy is clearly ahead of Noah so there isn't much of a resurrection.

NOP: Ntilikina

NYK: Rondo, 2nd

1.) Bad trade for OKC. Only Lakers win in this

2.) 14 Apr 2018 13:18:22
I think the Spurs benefit the most, because they shed disgruntled Kawhi Leonard, and his uncle.

3.) 14 Apr 2018 16:47:35
I think the Patriots benefit the most by giving Tom Brady another option. Seahawks may hesitate to do it.

13 Apr 2018 21:00:34
Good move by WAS to sign Law given the Meeks news.

12 Apr 2018 08:32:40
Didn't take the Knicks long to dismiss Hornacek. House cleaning. Blatt, Fizdale, and Jackson are terrible candidates, but Stackhouse was mentioned too. I hope they choose Stackhouse of those 4, but Doc, and Budenholzer are rumored to possibly be available too. Former Popovich assistant. Can't go wrong there. Players like him. MIL might snag him though.

1.) 12 Apr 2018 14:01:22
Blatt would be interesting. He ended up with a raw deal in Cleveland. It'd be interesting to see what he could do with a younger team. He just never figured out how to manage the Cavs veteran egos and didn't have the clout.

2.) 12 Apr 2018 17:33:24
If he couldn't hang with player egos in CLE, how's he going to handle the typical Dolan-run environment? I'd say not too well would be a guess on the safe side.

3.) 12 Apr 2018 20:37:27
They should give Stackhouse a chance, he's doing a great job in the D league.
Porzingis is a great cornerstone for his type of game with lots of passing and threepointers.

4.) 12 Apr 2018 22:14:11
Jorga, I said he should get another chance. I wouldn't suggest any coach or gm go to the Knicks. You can't handle Dolan. It's his team and money and he's made it clear he'll do what he wants. If he wants to over pay a marginal player or give up his entire team for Melo, it's going to happen. That said, jumping from the most respected coach in Europe to having to handle Lebron and company is a pretty tall task and not the one Blatt signed up for. He was suppose to come in form a culture and develop an extremely young team. That go flipped on its head when Lebron and Love came. There was just no way he could be the loudest voice in the room and there's a good chance he still would have won the title that year had Irving and Love been available for the finals.

On my way to this site, plastered at the top of the browser, I guess T.Thompson could have a bit of a distraction during these playoffs? Great timing. I hope B.Griffin is taking notes on what not to do. Mainly, a Kardashian.

10 Apr 2018 04:13:33
This DEN v.s. POR game is ridiculous. Shame if DEN doesn't get in. They are really good. The top 16 is looking better and better all the time. As opposed to east/west 8.

PHX doesn't have the Bucks pick. It was protected, and stays with the Bucks this season.

Kanter is owed 19 million for his option. Not turning that down.

Nope. Said he could one day be a Rondo is what a Euro Journalist claimed. He is obviously nowhere near Rondo, as rookie, or in his peak. As of now I rate his demonstrated ability, and value as a late 1st or early 2nd. If you got something else out of it. What can I say.

The pick belongs to the Bucks because it fell into the protection slot for the Bucks.

It's almost 19mil. All the more reason Kanter will exercise his option. It's his last big pay day. End up in a deadline trade maybe.
