Magic will suck after this trade and can go after either Bagley or Ayton with their pick and after Trae Young with Brooklyns pick.

Cavs need some young legs and they can resign them both if Lebron leaves in the offseason.

Pelicans get a replacement for Cousins that will play well together with Davis

I think Gordon is probably the one untouchable (possibly Isaac too) on the Orlando roster. I'd imagine everyone else is fair game for the right offer, but Gordon has grown by leaps and bounds and still has a ton of potential on both ends. He's also still young enough to go through a rebuild.

The Brooklyn pick just doesn't have that much value right now. This has the Magic trading their best player, Gordon, who's a 22 year old blossoming star. They're also giving up another big positive asset in Vuc and taking on 2 players w/ zero to negative value.

If the pick was guaranteed to be top 3, it would be at least worth considering, but it could just as easily be a mid-1st pick when the draft comes around.

I don't think the Nets pick is going to wind up in the top 5. They don't have much, if any, top end talent, but they have a LOT of fight in them, and have no reason to want to lose. They honestly remind me a lot of the Celtics a couple of years ago. I don't think they have quite the same amount of talent, but they have a bunch of solid role players with guys like LeVert and Dinwiddie emerging as real contributors. I think Allen has a bunch of talent as well, and they finally have a thinking front office. They should be able to transform themselves from a joke sooner than we think.

Orlando has no reason to move Gordon. I could see Fournier or Simmons, but Gordon has a ton of upside still and has taken a huge leap forward this year.

i don't think this is a bad trade, but i think the Bulls wants more.
They asked Boston #3 pick+ the Nets pick+ Crowder.

Butler has a good contract for the next four years, so they should only trade him for an offer they can't refuse :-)

Certainly not the worst offer I've ever seen but isn't enough to get Butler. Seeing the salary being thrown around in free agency the value of guys who recently signed the old max has jumped since now average players are making that amount.
