Clippers-Celtics

I don't think the clippers will trade griffin and I don't know why they would but the Celtics are one of the few teams that have the assests to get the clips thinking about it

Celtics get Griffin and Stephonson

Clippers get Sullinger, Lee, Crowder, Brooklyn 1st, Dallas 1st

Losing Crowder would be tough but the C's but they a superstar and make them more attractive free agent destination.

I'd rather go to Nuggets or Knicks, but if this is the case, add Young and Mickey and you really make them think.

Couple lakers trades

Sac gets Lou Williams and a second round pick
Lakers get McLemore and Caron Butler (buyout)

Sixers get Clarkson
Lakers get Covington and their first round pick guaranteed.

He'll no from Philly.

2.) 04 Feb 2016 05:21:31
Lou will has more value than meclemore, no need to add the second rounder.

3.) 04 Feb 2016 16:09:45
No way form philly. Clarkson isn't worth it.

Laker-Kings-wolves

Lakers get McLemore and Shabazz Muhammed

Kings get Brandon bass and Kevin martin

Wolves get Julius randle, Darren collison and kings second and lakers 2nd

Lakers continue to build for the future with 2 highly talented players. And with the acquisition of McLemore it allows the lakers to at least think about trading Clarkson if they think his price is going to get to high this offseason.

The kings gear up to make a push for the playoffs

Wolves get a highly talented young prospect to have a future revolved around Wiggins-towns-rankdle. They also get 2draftpicks and collison who is another good trade chip if they don't need him around.

Kings need more.

2.) 11 Jan 2016 15:30:25
I like that the Lakers reload at the 2 guard position, but they are much higher on Randle and aren't looking to move picks right now unless they can get a superstar talent player.

3.) 11 Jan 2016 15:31:12
Bad for Kings, push for playoffs with dealing starter and best sub for two players below replacement level? Not really.

4.) 11 Jan 2016 15:44:25
Martin sucks this season, that's why he is on the block, and 14mill over 2 seasons is way to much to pay for a player that sucks. Kings say no. Then the lakers don't get enough for Randle, not sure why the lakers trade for 2 young sgs. The trade works out great for the wolves tho. Draft a sg, and they are set 1-5 with high ceiling young players. La and sac both say no tho.

5.) 11 Jan 2016 19:09:04
There is so much misinformation about the Wolves in the last post.

Martin has been playing poorly, especially at the start of the season, but he's not on the trading block "because he sucks, " but because at age 32, he's not part of the future, and the Wolves want to put their SG minutes into the young Wiggins and LaVine, who both play better as SG's. I suspect that with the cap rising so dramatically next year, you'll see players like Martin get bigger deals than $7 mil next year. Finally, the Wolves certainly don't want to draft a SG next year - that is the position of there biggest minutes crunch right now!

As for the trade in general, the first thing I'd do is remove the picks. Second rounders habe never carried a lot of trade value anyway. I am not the biggest McLemore fan, but if the Lakers wanted to move Randle (who is still the best piece in this trade), splitting him into two young, under-valued players that have a lot of upside is probably the way I'd go. For the Kings, I think they are starting to like McLemore more this season after being so bad before. I think there is a lot of pressure in SAC to make the playoffs, with ownership. boogie, and fan support for a stadium all high priorities. If I was them, I'd do it, but I imagine they'd look for a different deal. For MIN, they move two players that don't get much playing time for a higher their prospect. They can even use Collison, and could send SAC vet Andre Miller (who's been surprisingly good), Tayshaun Prince and a second if they want to add some playoff experience, at a cheap price.

Overall, there are things I like in this trade for the direction of all three teams, but I think SAC and probably LAL probably still project the guys they picked to be potential stars, and would decline the trade.

6.) 11 Jan 2016 19:28:08
I'll also add, that since Sam Mitchell keeps playing with the Wolves rotation, I thought I'd post where they are headed:

Rubio, Tyus Jones, Andre Miller
Wiggins, LaVine, Kevin Martin
Prince, Shabazz, Rudez
Garnett, Bjelica, Payne,
Towns, Dieng, Pekovic

Mitchell likes to do wholesale substitutions, so bench players often only play with bench players. Tyus needs time to learn, so the second u it still has LaVine try to play point sometimes, but that experiment has mostly failed - Sam sees him as a 2. Sam also likes Wiggins natural size advantage and on court success with Wiggins as a 2, and is trying to play him more there. He can play the three.

The biggest frustration for Wolves fans is that Shabazz is playing very well, and he's not getting many minutes over Tayshaun Prince. Mitchell likes Prince's defense, but he'll be gone next year. MIN needs to play Shabazz because they'll have to figure out whether to trade him soon, or know what to pay him in 15 months.

Garnett starts games for sentimental reasons, but plays limited minutes and sits the back end of back-to-backs. There are a lot of minutes to be had at PF. Bjelica, the euro-league MVP lookd great to start the season, but has really struggled after a minor injury. Payne is enthusiastic, but not skilled, Recently, with Pekovic back at center, we are seeing him paired with Dieng at PF. Pekovic will probably play 15-20 minutes for a while, so Dieng has been practicing PF since last summer. He has some good games, and some bad. Towns has been playing great so far, and can play both center and PF.

7.) 11 Jan 2016 21:00:19
Shrink, Martin sucks. He's 32 with a 14m deal for 2 years, and isn't good enough to be on the court for any team. he will be bought out of that deal in 2 months, so NO team will trade from him. martin looks to be done.

8.) 12 Jan 2016 05:21:39
There was so much wrong with your original post, that this is what you get out of it?

It's posts like the one above that make me wonder if the board is worth my time. I don't post a lot because in some of these situations I don't feel I have anything constructive to add. But I see post after post from people that don't know a situation, and still feel obliged to post nonsense.

They don't take the time to find out if a trade works financially, or if the team really has first round picks to include. They post that the Wolves should draft a SG with Wiggins and LaVine on the team! My god. These are things that are obviously wrong. Do I extrapolate that this will be typical - that the poster is uninformed with all teams, and to lazy or ignorant to check what he is saying is true?

Kings- lakers

Lou Williams and a 2nd for Ben McLemore and Caron Butler

Kings are actually in he playoff hunt and Williams would give them a boost to the bench and McLemore has fallen out of favor with Karl.

Lakers get a replacement for Kobe and Mclemore should be able to reach his potential under the mentorship of Kobe.

Butler would probably get bought out so he can latch on with a contender. He was included to make salaries work.

Lakers send Lou williams and Julius Randle to suns for Markieff, PJ tucker and an unprotected first round pick.

la18bl5

1.) 30 Dec 2015 20:06:51
I'd rather keep randle.

2.) 30 Dec 2015 20:14:50
No way for an unprotected maybe a lottery protected.

3.) 30 Dec 2015 20:20:16
Not a bad deal for either team. Seems like la has abandoned Randel to a bench player. At least now he'll be able to start.

La get a high pick in return which would be great for their rebuild. They take on Morris and his overpaid contract to even the deal out a bit more.

I like it.

4.) 30 Dec 2015 20:20:52
Thrill house you are ridiculous.

5.) 30 Dec 2015 22:48:35
Lakers fans think Randle is Charles Barkley or something.

6.) 30 Dec 2015 22:49:04
Top 10 protected.

7.) 30 Dec 2015 22:49:49
Thrillhouse is absolutely right. No one with brains would trade an unprotected first for Julius Randle. Period.

8.) 30 Dec 2015 22:51:39
Randle isn't even a starter on the second worst team in the nba.

9.) 31 Dec 2015 04:36:31
Bhc you know that's absurd. I know your a Celtics fan so you're not going to like lakers players but you know your statement was absurd.

Thrill house

Why give up on a 20 year old kid who was drafted seventh overall? He has good potential. If it was top 10 protected then the deal would be Randle and Williams for Morris and tucker. Morris has almost or already reached negative value and tucker is below average. I see you here saying why people don't value Parker much as he was the second pick just a year ago. It's kinda like the same thing.

10.) 31 Dec 2015 10:11:54
I suppose you have a point.

Some moves for Lakers offseason

First one on one trade randle for Ben McLemore. Lakers get an athletic replacement for Kobe who would greatly improve under the mentorship of Kobe.

Draft Okafor at number 2
Draft Robert Upshaw at number 27 who has lottery talent but with questionable character. But with his defensive ability it would be worth te risk for the lakers
Draft cliff Alexander in 2nd round

Sign Demarre Carrol 4 yrs 32 mil
Sign Rondo 2 yrs with a team option for third for 9, il a year
Try to sign Aldridge. Highly unlikely but worth a shot. If they don't gte Aldridge go after Love or Monroe. Preferably Love because he can space the floor and get Okafor 1 on 1 in the block.

Lakers line up
Pg: rondo, Clarkson
Sg: Bryant, McLemore, Jabari brown
Sf: Carroll, young
PF: Love/Monroe, Alexander
C: Okafor, Upshaw, sacre

Don't see the C's trading a likely top 5 pick and Avery Bradley for a possible rental in horford. And no way would the Hawks get Noel and a first round pick for only teague.

rr2300, I don't get how you can all Frank a bust already. He has been a nice player coming off the bench for the hornets. Sorry to say but Not everyone reaches their full potential in their rookie season, so calling Kaminsky a bust already is just ignorant.

To the actual idea, the nuggets would not take this trade, I think they would prefer a first round pick.

1) kings are actually in the playoff hunt, so there is no way that Cousins is getting traded.
2) No way Cavs trade Irving and ruin there championship chances.
3) LeBron will not go to Orlando.
