Lol this is funny. Ibaka will get way more money than that and Favors isn't even a free agent.

@NBA Looks good, but I think your FA salaried are too low, they are always higher than people expect.
@lakeelmo Why would you take a young and upcoming team and burden them with past their prime guys? Wolves are doing a long term build.

I like the idea of Minnesota going after some big name free agents. I'm not sure Favors isthe best fit. I think going after a pg who can score, a stretch PF, and a 3 and D wing would be a good idea. They have the talent in place to make a run at the playoffs now and a few free agents could make a scary team for the foreseeable future.

It's not in Wolves makeup to be a contender. The last time they were relevant was 14 yrs ago. Thanks to KG. Taylor is only interested in making money, not making the playoffs.
But getting a big name FA will not happen. He'll wait for Wiggins and KAT to reach maximum trading value and start all over again. He will trade one or both of them in the next 3 yrs. It was in my fortune cookie I got last night, even the Chinese have him figured out.

Jalex: favors is 25, ibaka is 27. It's not like they're signing 35 year olds. Favors definitely fits the age range. Ibaka is a bit old for them, but he would fit with towns, and is still relatively young.
That said, ibaka will get more, and favors isn't a free agent.

Minnesota doesn't do that trade. They need veterans and not more draft picks.
