Horrific value for the Magic by including an unprotected pick. They don't get Russell for enough time to enjoy the benefits of a rookie contract, and he has shown nowhere near enough value for what has a very good chance of being a high lottery pic, not to mention adding an expiring who would be a great scoring presence of the bench.
Maybe if it was an unprotected 2nd round pick it could be possible.

Shiller, this feels more like a Sullinger situation than a player being overlooked. Teams liked him as high as 2 before his medicals came out. His talent was never really in question. There are rumors he isn't going to play this year and back issues are something that linger with you. A guy with that kind of talent and a skill set that fits today's league perfectly falling that far probably means teams doubt if he can ever be healthy.
