POR- NO- LA DEAL

POR gets J Holiday, B Ingram, N Mirotic

NO gets L Ball, K Kuzma, CJ McCollum, E Turner, M Leonard, A Simons, 4 1st rounders (2 from POR and 2 from LA)

LA gets A Davis, M Harkless

May need to add small pieces to get salary match...

This gets Davis to LA along with a defender. Gives POR better balance around Dame and off some bad contracts in return for Cj and 1st rounders. And NO gets a huge haul of talent, young but ready players and draft picks.

Rumors of LA interested in Lilliard so.....

Lilliard and Aminu ($35M) for
Future 1st rounder, Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, Deng ($33M)

Blazers lineup
Ball/McCollum/Ingram/Kuzma/Nurkic Backups
G- Curry, Simons, Baldwin, Trent Jr
F/C- Collins, Harkless, Deng, Turner, Leonard

Blazers would make more moves to clear roster, maybe lose Nurk in FA, sit Simons this year, maybe even move McCollum for lottery picks, but gives young talent w/Ingram/Kuzma/Ball/Collins and Deng/Turner/Leonard contracts all up in 2 yrs. Some risk w/Ball's injury and Lavar though.

Lakers get superstar and Aminu can start now, but contract is up next year clearing tons of space for Khawi next year in FA....

Dont want to lose Lilliard but we are stuck in the middle, its time to do something else.
What do y'all think?

Love the idea. Good job. I donâ€™t think the Lakers would give all 3 of their young guns, more likely to me that they offer Ingram and Hart or Lonzo and Kuzma along with taking on a bad on contract. I donâ€™t think I do those deals a the blazers, so probably nothing will come of it.

Ingram, Kuzma, and Hart would probably be the absolute minimum Portland would need to consider it. Probably the future first too. I wouldnâ€™t have any interest in Ball.

I also wouldnâ€™t include Aminu (who has decent value), as they could trade him elsewhere. Theyâ€™d want to include one of their bad contracts back (Leonard) .

Blazers need to shed salary, unfortunately. Noel is unrestricted, and I don't see any reason why blazers want him with nurkic and Collins and why noel would do a s&t. It's possible but unlikely. Turner and the 25th is not enough for his 36 mil owed I don't think.

I don't think the sixers give up both assets for McCollum. If Mikal Bridges isn't there at 10 then maybe I do it but I think Bridges will be there and for me he is too good a fit here to trade away. Let Fultz develop his game while keeping the valuable 3 and D guys.

Blazers get Middleton, Jennings, save 3.2M cap space

Trade w/Kings
Kings get Turner, 19' 1st rounder
Blazers get Faried, save 4.2M cap space

Let all free agents go, clear up 13M more in cap space, putting you right around the cap.

Sign Rudy Gay to 3 years

Lineup
Lilliard, Jennings
McCollum, Baldwin
Middleton, Swanigan, Layman
Gay, Faried
Collins, Leonard

If you can swing it to resign Ed Davis and Rudy Gay, that'd be best, then you put Davis at starting C w/ Collins starting at Pf, Gay as 6th man.
Play with this lineup a few years, develop Collins and see what happens. In 3 yrs all you have left is lilliard, McCollum, Collins and Swanigan. If you want to hit reset button trade stars for draft picks then.

That's a massive underpay. Middleton is probably one of the most underrated players in the league. Portland would need to add more.

You're not getting Middleton for that. The Bucks aren't actively shopping him and he's probably the one player on that roster that is an ideal fit next to Giannis.

I also don't see that being enough to move salary this summer in the Turner deal. Few teams have cap and plenty of teams want to move it. Also, Faried is on the Nuggets and they're trying to move him to save money.
