1.) 20 Jul 2017 19:37:24
suns don't give up a first rounder fir Anderson, its a salary dump they would need more than just Anderson to give up a pick.

17 Jul 2017 17:48:44
Moore and Ajinca for Terrance Ross

Solomon Hill for Marco Bellinelli

Omer Asik and Axel Toupane to the nets

Quincy P to the sixers

16 Jul 2017 23:19:49

1.) 17 Jul 2017 01:15:21
Why in the world would the Suns do that?

2.) 17 Jul 2017 01:19:30
Why would suns do this?

3.) 17 Jul 2017 04:03:11
Must be a pelicans fan

4.) 17 Jul 2017 06:14:45
Why would PHX do this? Easy answer is. they wouldn't. Move along, nothing to see here.

5.) 17 Jul 2017 18:38:50
Maybe if Phoenix gets the picks/ swap rights from all these teams for the next 6 years.

12 Jul 2017 03:13:29
Pelicans get Wall

Hawks get Asik, Jason Smith

Wizards get Diallo, Jackson, Quincy P, Bellinelli, two first round picks and two second round picks

Pistons get Moore and Ajinca

1.) 12 Jul 2017 04:16:01
The Wizards aren't trading Wall unless they think they'll lose him or they get a ridiculous offer. I also hate this for Atlanta.

2.) 12 Jul 2017 04:58:21
That is really terrible for the Wizards, Wall is the only big name i see in the trade. That's not going to happen.

3.) 12 Jul 2017 13:37:04
Trading Wall for that? It's like trading a 50 cent piece for 4 dimes and 2 plug nickels.

4.) 17 Jul 2017 11:24:11
Why would the Wizards do this?

19 Jun 2017 03:12:39
Pelicans trade Moore, Ajinca, Frazier, Diallo, first round unprotected 2018 pick, and 2017 second round pick

Pacers trade George

1.) 19 Jun 2017 05:07:22
Not unless the front office of Sac is running Indy now.

2.) 19 Jun 2017 06:18:55
Don't think salary works out but its the right idea. Some team is going to take a shot on George as a season rental with the hope that he likes it and resigns long term.

Pacers are going to want something for George and aren't going to get anything too significant after George publicly saying he won't resign with them. They have no leverage and would be wise to deal him to highest bidder. I think their hope is that Lakers get scared and give up something like Clarkson and Randle for him. Its a far cry from what he would've gotten before but its something and likely more than most contenders could afford to give up.

3.) 19 Jun 2017 15:40:55
This would be a win-win scenario for Pelicans It makes them a top 3 Western team automatically and even if George departs for LA after one season, it clears money off cap.

Wolves get Butler and 16th pick

Bulls get robbed

1.) 23 Jun 2017 04:57:02
That was a terrible trade for the Bulls. Moving up 9 spots in the draft, a guy coming off an acl tear and Dunn who had a terrible rookie year for one of the premier two way player in the league.

2.) 23 Jun 2017 12:36:46
It should've been Wiggins, Jones and #7 for Butler and #16.

3.) 23 Jun 2017 15:55:53
NBA, I think the 16 would have been out of the original trade it wouldn't have been terrible for the Bulls. Maybe not the ideal package, but understandable. Once you at that's 16 though, it's kind of baffling. I really don't understand the hurrying on their part. They had Butler for 2 more years. The only thing I can think after that trade (and the Cousins trade) is that the Warriors and to a lesser extent the Cavs and the disparity between the contracts from drafted players and players after being resigned have made teams think staying young and building through the draft is their best option long term. I assume being capped out just to get beat down in the playoffs isn't a great motivator to make a trade for a star.

4.) 23 Jun 2017 17:21:14
Do I wish we could've gotten more? Of course.

But if this was the best offer on the table, it was a deal they had to make. This was the most leverage they were ever going to posses in a trade for Jimmy, having 2 years left on his deal. Rebuilding was the right move.

Ill be the last person to defend Gar/ Pax believe me, and any other GM would've gotten that deal without giving up 16 (not sure Wiggins was ever on the table) . But in the big picture, this move wasn't the absolute worst thing they could've done. Not great, but at least we picked a direction.

5.) 25 Jun 2017 00:11:58
Real reason they traded jimmy Jerry owner is so cheap didn't wanna pa him the super max.

Charlotte gets Dwight Howard and 31st pick

Hawks getting Plumlee,Bellinelli and 41st pick

1.) 21 Jun 2017 06:41:26
Trade actually happened. I knew Howard's value was low but not this low, Hawks aren't really getting anything in this trade expect some slight cap relief (although Plumlee's contract is a year longer) .

Its an indication that Hawks are probably finally going to imbrace a complete rebuild (probably a season or two too late since they are about to lose both Horford and Millsap for nothing) .

Charlotte is mediocre at best and this trade doesn't really change that but I think it was a low risk move for them to get Howard. I'm curious to see if they'll use their #11 draft pick to try and add another piece to try and make a win-now push. Cody Zeller was playing well for them prior to his injury last year so this trade hurts him as Howard will most likely start.
