Ind-Lac

Indiana- Tobias Harris

Clips- Joseph,Leaf and 1st

Indiana gets another scoring option outside of Oladipo and puts them closer to the top of the east

Clippers get a 1st out of Harris who already turned down an extension and will most likely walk.

Harris wants to try and play for a little better deal. He likes the clippers and wants to stay. I would take this deal if I was the clippers though. Keep or trade a PG to the suns for warren or something. Good trade for the clips.

2.) 05 Oct 2018 22:45:52
Clips are already busting at the seams with PG’s, Joseph would be of no interest.

Spurs-Timberwolves

Spurs send - Walker Gay Bertans

T-Wolves send- Butler Jones

Spurs get another star to pair with Derozan and Aldridge and get a good role player in Jones

T-Wolves turn 1 year of Butler into a good prospect, good starter, and solid role player

1.) 04 Oct 2018 19:44:23
Raptors pick or Spurs pick will need to be included to be considered, and I still think this package doesn’t move the needle for Minny. Gay just doesn’t have much value.

2.) 04 Oct 2018 20:21:12
I think Murray or Poeltl would have to be involved if SA wanted to land Butler.

3.) 04 Oct 2018 21:17:36
I have the opposite view. Gay has lots of value. Walker has lots of potential, and Bertans is a good role player. I don't think the Spurs would agree to this deal.

Butler is a head case. Spurs just got rid on one.

4.) 04 Oct 2018 21:56:51
Every team Gay leaves gets better.

5.) 04 Oct 2018 23:00:50
You're right Shiller41. The Grizzlies and Kings will be in the Western finals this year.

6.) 05 Oct 2018 00:59:35
Walker, gay, Bertans would only be a steal for the wolves if butler leaves the spurs next summer. (which I think he would) Then its a bad deal for the spurs. Unbelievable.

7.) 05 Oct 2018 13:40:22
Warlock r as ptors, grizzlies and kings all improved after gay left. I'm sorry facts hurt you.

8.) 05 Oct 2018 15:43:01
Have you seen Gay play with the Spurs? He is the third best player on the team. Against backup SF/ PF he is nearly unguardable. Unfortunately, he has to start. If the Spurs could somehow get an affordable starting SF, they would be much improved. (ie. Josh Jackson, TJ Warren, Justise winslow, Josh Richardson) . Spurs not trading Rudy Gay.

9.) 05 Oct 2018 15:47:57
How is Butler a headcase? Because he wants out of a mediocre situation? It's not like he's caused issues on the court or gotten arrested. He's a great player that doesn't want to be stuck with someone he hates and doesn't professionally respect (Wiggins) . That makes sense to me.

10.) 05 Oct 2018 17:23:11
Butler has a contract for $20mm. Demanding a trade right before the season starts and refusing to show up to honor his contract is not the act of a reliable/ loyal employee, no matter what he thinks of Wiggins/ Towns. Headcase is a kind description of his behavior.

He is not worth a max deal anyway. Spurs can't afford to keep him.

11.) 05 Oct 2018 18:54:11
Warlock these guys have media, friends, family, agents, coach, team all looking to get a piece of them in many instances. These are not typical 9-5, punch the clock persons. Placing the sane job expectations on a janitor and Jimmy butler undersells the dynamics of the butler/ wolves separation. Also since he has a contract he is more like a business owner contracting his services as opposed to a subordinate reporting to his boss.

12.) 05 Oct 2018 22:29:51
Btec I agree that it is ridiculous to compare Jimmy Butler to a laborer. He has a contract for his labor in large part because of the amount of money involved. It is substantial. These teams have shareholders, sponsors, TV networks, leaseholders, tickholders, and most of all FANS! who they have to answer to. They expect a level of professionalism and loyalty for the millions of dollars that they pay to watch these entertainers. Butler's actions are a slap in the face to each and every one of the people he has promised to perform on his contract.

I am no longer a Jimmy Butler fan. Minnesota can't get rid of him fast enough. I would never want this guy on my team.

13.) 06 Oct 2018 16:40:23
So far butler hasn't done any of the things you describe. He had a surgery, and the team has excused him and is not fining him up to this point. Later is another story but the fine for sitting out is much larger in the regular season and wojnarowski said butler and his camp haven't threatened sitting out.

Jimmy Butler for Otto Porter and a 2nd?

Minnesota gets a jack of all trades who fills in nicely with the team. Wizards get to make a push for finals with Lebron gone and get money back after one year.

T-Wolves: Teague-Wiggins-Porter-Gibson-Towns
Wizards: Wall-Beal-Butler-Morris-Howard

Maybe at xmas if wolves are desperate.

Hornets-Jazz

Hornets- Rubio,Allen,2 2nd's

Jazz- Kemba Kamisky

Jazz get a big upgrade at guard whie trying to compete

Hornets get rubio who they can flip for a young piece later and a good prospect to pair with monk in the backcourt

okte9

1.) 15 Aug 2018 19:55:24
That’s awful for the Hornets.

2.) 15 Aug 2018 21:56:48
Rubio is better fit for Jazz than Kemba

Knicks-Suns

Suns- Porzingis and Mudiay

Knicks- Jackson Bridges Bender

This gives suns an all star big to pair with Ayton and booker while still having Warren and Ariza at the 3 and Mudiay at least gives them an option at point which they don't have.

This gives the suns two perfect defenseive players in bridges and a buy low on bender they could potentially have a lineup of ntilinka jackson bridges knox robinson which would be a defensive juggernaut.

okte9

1.) 10 Aug 2018 19:53:19
Knicks turn this down and I wouldn't pair porzingis with ayton. 2 of the same guy. Porzingis is better defensively and offensively, get ran to death by small lineups.

2.) 10 Aug 2018 22:08:10
Knicks turn this down. They love Porzingis and want to build a team around him. They would have to get an all-star in order to move him.

Suns-Cavs

If the Cavs decide to shift to youth, and the Suns want to try to get booker in playoffs.

Cavs get Warren Chandler and their choice of bender or chriss

Suns get love and zizic

okte9

1.) 12 Aug 2018 18:17:51
Good deal.

Thunder would never do any of those trades.

Why would Phoenix give up a first round pick to trade down. That does not make any sense at all.

It is more likely okc would take deng's contract with a young player like hart or kuzma in a sign and trade.

Kevin Love has more value than the 10th pick to 76ers. They are ready to win now.
