Cavs Offseason

(* If Cavs do not repeat)

Trade:
- Kevin Love for Paul George
- Iman Shumpert and Cedi Osman for Will Barton

Cut: Jefferson, James Jones

Sign:
Deron Williams - Vet Min
Kyle Korver - Vet Min
Andrew Bogut - 1yr/5M
Derrick Williams - 1yr/5M
Larry Sanders - 1yr/2.5M
Eric Moreland - 2yrs/3M

PG: Kyrie, Deron Will, Felder
SG: Paul George, JR Smith, Liggins
SF: Lebron, Will Barton, Korver
PF: Thompson, Frye, Derrick Will
C: Bogut, Sanders, Moreland

Cavs add size, play big and regain a defensive identity. Get rid of Love and Shumpert's contract to give more cap flexibility. Cavs shoot the three less but rely more on the P&R. Barton gives scoring punch off the bench and deep rotation gives Lebron rest. Also, good chance of Paul George re-signing as playing with Kyrie and Lebron will be his best chance of winning championships

@Supercollider: George for Love makes sense. George doesn't want to re-sign and Pacers do not a rebuild right now. Love is an all-star averaging 20 and 10, long term contract and only 28. Don't see a better option for Indiana if they want to trade George.

There are many better options. Like keep him.

Also. I love that the comment is you don't get George for love. So you go fine. George AND their first for love. Love is a third option. Proven not to be a first option. George is worlds better.

George for Love is interesting since I doubt Pacers would be able to get a better player in return and if George is true to his word he'd be on a contender and thus would resign in Cleveland. Love is clearly not the level player George is but he is still an all-star. Pacers are in jeopardy of losing him and with him saying he'd like to play for Lakers may scare off teams or at the least influence the strength of their offers. However even with George Pacers aren't that great so they'd probably be worse with Love so they are probably just better off if they deal George to get younger assets and rebuild around their only other good player Turner who is young.

@hamburger George is probably better, but has an expiring contract and does not want to re-sign. Pacers will look for the best trade value they can get for him.
