I don't like Indys odds to keep George so if I'm them I'd definitely take this offer. Lakers on the other hand have some options. I think the price for George is a bit steep given the predicament Pacers find themselves in with George in his final year, them possibly not even making the playoffs this year and rumors going around that George wants to go to LA (which has scared off other teams) .

If I'm LA I'd take it a little slower to see what I had with the young guys (especially if they keep their pick they should take time to see how Ball or Jackson look) and figure out who they want to keep and go aggressively after guys in 2018 which projects as a solid FA class with a bunch of guys originally from Cali who may be looking to come home (Westbrook, George, Lopez, etc. )

Not a bad deal based on most mocks when you look at the picks Indy could have a nice young lineup if they draft a pg and a sg say

Ball, Ferguson, Ingram, Randle, Turner

I'd say that's a good deal especially if George wants out.

That's too much. I'd rather not trade a lot for him this year. If he doesn't come next year, we keep the young talent we have and move on.
