Nowhere close. Biyombo and Mozgov are basically a wash, so the Lakers give up Russell and a 2dn rounder to move up three spots in the late first round? That's insane.

Age, he's 24, has plenty of years left in the league and the potential to get much better. He's displayed that potential.

Yeah, the problem is that the picks and bigs are a wash. So the trade basically comes down to Russell for a second rounder. That's terrible.

I don't think Mozgov and Biyombo are a wash. They both are on bad contracts, but Biyombo is low end starter/ high end bench guy. Mozgov looks done and the age matters because they each have 3 years left on their contracts. Biyombo is still improving. Mozgov is regressing swiftly. I don't think there is a big enough difference to include Russell, but maybe one of the Lakers lesser prospects.
