I think the big reason that SA would move Aldridge is cap space, so bringing back Deng is not what they'd be going for. They want to bring in Paul, and an extra 2 mil won't help their cause. On the surface, it's not a bad trade, but it doesn't accomplish what the Spurs are going for.

randle is the next big thing if this trade happen spurs is the big winner they just need to add one liget role player center like nene or bogut and re sign simmons and some cheap vet

Julius randle is the next big thing eh? that's amazing.

lets take this just one step further. when he is on the court, -10.6. when he is off, -3.2

-7.4 is among the worst differentials in the entire league. Oh. and in 1 year, clarkson and deng will be making over 30 million, and randle would take another 15-20 million.

great move. Clarkson is a backup on the lakers. But a starting pg for the spurs? Jesus this is bad for the spurs.

I think Pop could use Randle's passing, post play, and rebounding well and Clarkson could be a player that could create his own offense off the bench, which the Spurs need especially if Manu retires, but unless they can dump salary in a trade to go after a starting caliber pg, no trade involving Aldridge makes sense.
