If the Spurs are moving Gasol and Green, it's to create cap space to sign CP3 or Hayward, not to bring in Melo.

Even if Parker makes it back mid-year and is ineffective, he's still an expiring deal. Why would the Spurs agree to take on the three years of boat anchor that is Noah's contract?

Why would NY want either player? Melo is 10 times better than Parker and Green is a product of Pop's system. Love Pau but he is grossly overpaid which NY seems to be trying to end the trend of acquiring awful contracts and Parker who is hurt really isn't much of an upgrade over Rose so they still suck and are in worse shape cap wise. Pretty certain NYK's want young assets in exchange for Melo not guys who are in the twilight of their career and won't be around in 2-3 years.
