Cavs get Joakim Noah, Tobias Harris, Jon Leur, Kristaps Porzingis, and Stanley Johnson

The Cavs have made Kristaps Porzingis their primary target in a Kyrie Irving trade. This trade allows the Cavs to pickup the 7'3 Latvian wonder-kid while moving their current Power Forward Kevin Love. Moving Love gives the Cavs a versatile and athletic forward Tobias Harris, a stretch four to replace Love in Leur, and a young forward in Stanley Johnson who can become LeBron's pupil. Picking up Noah's ugly contract hurts but at least he'd be a good backup center. This trade improves the Cavs depth and brightens their future.

The Knicks get their new face of the franchise in Kyrie Irving, a local grown talent who wants nothing more than to win in New York. Losing Porzingis hurts but I'd say it's worth it for the Knicks to bring in a 25 year old star point guard who happens to be the most clutch player in the league while ridding their selves of one of the worst contracts in the NBA (Noah's). Irving and Melo would instantly become a scary scoring duo and the two New Yorkers can work to recruit other stars in their attempt to revive the Knicks.

The Pistons add an All-Star to what is shaping up to be a very nice starting five. Jackson/Bradley/Shumpert/Love/Drummond contains a nice mixture of shooting, defense, and rebounding. Love gives the Pistons a clear leading scorer, and the frontcourt of Drummond and Love should dominate the boards. Shumpert and Bradley would make for a tough defensive wing, but SVG could also go with Kennard at the three to add even more shooting. The Pistons could possibly make a run in this weak eastern conference.

Can I change the proposal a little bit?
Knicks get Kyrie Irving and Tobias Harris
Pistons get Kevin Love and Joakim Noah
Cavaliers get Kristaps Porzingis, Stanley Johnson, Ish Smith, Lance Thomas and Jon Leuer

I feel Detroit should be the one that has to take on Noah's contract considering they are getting a top 30 player in Kevin Love for a subpar package of players. I also believe the Knicks would want something else for giving up Porzingis' future. Tobias Harris is a native New Yorker, grew up in Long Island, his family still resides in New York, and he is very close to Carmelo Anthony so I believe it would be ideal that he becomes a Knick. If the Knicks are willing to give up Porzingis for Irving, Melo and Kyrie are a great duo and there is enough role guys on the roster to where they could make the playoffs this season and recruit others in free agency next season. If the Cavs believe LeBron is going to leave, try and grab a future superstar in Porzingis now, Johnson is a young asset, Smith gives them another stopgap at PG along with Derrick Rose and Jose Calderon and they hopefully won't become the Brooklyn Nets after LeBron leaves.
