You going for the oldest bench in the history of the league there or what. They wouldn’t make it through the season, starters would be player 40 minutes a night by January.

Just run and run and run that team out of the gym.

If they have Irving, Durant, and Davis they won’t have any more cap space so they will have to fill in the bench with savy veteran role players who know the game, are comfortable with their roles, won’t try to do too much, but have experience in the playoffs and know how to win games, and that are chasing a ring before they hang them up. All of those players still have some game left if they don’t play a ton of minutes and can be effective. Durant, Irving, Davis, Dotson, Robinson, and Trier provide the youth, athleticism, and fresh legs. The rest just come in, work hard, do their job, and help win games. You can’t have a strong bench when you have three stars. And stars win in this league.

Did Shizzee change his name? Lol
Wow.

Stars don't win in this league (see Lebron or A. Davis) . Winners become stars in this league. Why is the Greek Freak all of a sudden a star? Because the Bucks have been winning games ovee the last couple of years.

Pels would take that deal

And as for the Knicks, their bench would gain sponsors from Depends, Life Alert and Geritol.

Semantics Freeman. Lebron won for years and years. AD pulled an average team to the second round. Giannis (a Star) is taking his team to the best record in the NBA.

Is Giannis suddenly a star? He was an all star last year.

Joeb I never changed my name
Dacman lmao that's funny
Dotson is ok. Insulting to start with that lineup. Dotson for A. Hawkins-58

You could have some bench vet players. Not all your vet minimum players have to be old.
J. Lamb for MLE. Most of these guys are vet minimum guys, others have to be sold on winning a title to take less.

Irving/ I. Thomas/ McConnell
Lamb/ N. Young/ Hawkins-58
Durant/ J. Green/ C. Brewer
Frye/ Vonleh/ Moute
Davis/ Robinson/ Fall-55.

Milwaukee a playoff team last year? Giannis has been in the playoffs every year but one since he has been drafted. Lebron can't even say that.

Lebron's star is fading. Why? Not making the playoffs is a start. And the fact that the Lakers are looking for another star in order to be winning also lessens Lebron's stardom.

It kind of like that one year stardom of Isaiah Thomas in Boston.

His star isn’t really fading that much, but if there is a reason, it’s age. He’s just not as good as he was.

I don’t think saying “we need two stars to win” lessens anyone’s stardom. You can’t win with just one player.

So who is the other "star" on Milwaukee? Middleton? Remember we are talking about the team with the overall best record.

The arguement is more which is better: a team with one superstar and an above average supporting deep roster or a team with 2-3 stars and a below average supporting roster?

The Warriors have been dominating because they were more of the former than the latter.

Historically, 2 stars is required to win a ring, 3 is recommended. One is rare (all I can think of is Dirk, who had a GREAT supporting cast of all stars past their prime) .

Also, the warriors are great because of their top talent, not depth.

Also, Giannis has 0 rings.

Try a young D-Wade and an aging Shaq/ A. Walker.

May be able to argue for a young Kawhi among the aging Spurs trio as well.
