Minor correction. Contracts on MLE can only be a maxiumum of 4 years long. Just happened to come across that when researching something else in the CBA. Just like the BLEs can only be 2 years long.

Super, there are players on this Knicks team that would be attractive to other squads, including Robinson, Trier and Smith. A top 1-4 pick is also a nice piece in a Trade.

That said, shizzee continues to make us Knicks fans look bad with his deals. There is enough there to land a star player, but not two. Jordan is also not taking a multi-season MLE.

As for C’s fans, there is every chance you will lose Irving to the Knicks, but your only concern in that shouldn’t be what you lose on the court, it will be that AD will be less likely to re-sign with Irving there.
