Rockets send Chris Paul
Celtics send Gordon Hayward

The Celtics get a very good PG to replace Kyrie and one that’s much more focused on distribution to develop Tatum and others. The Rockets don’t need said PG with Harden being the true lead guard, but could use a playmaking wing that can shoot and play D. The contracts are both famously bad but about even due to that while Paul’s is a year longer, you more likely know what you’re getting from him as Hayward is much more of a mystery.

Hayward isn't good anymore. Would be bad for the Rockets.

You think it’s like the cinematic masterpiece “Rookie of the Year”? Just, poof?

That's actually a really good fit for both clubs, but I don't think that CP3 has shown quite the regression and Hayward hasn't quite shown the improvement to merit the swap.

Plus, do the State Farm commercials now wind up including Tatum/ Horford? How is that going to work? And the color scheme worked with the Clippers and Rockets, but that red and green don't work as well. Does State Farm stay with the Rockets and switch to Harden? These are the real questions we need answers to.
